Samsung YP-U3 mp3 player display is DEAD..won't show menu

MY SAMSUNG YP-U3 PLAYER DISPLAY won't turn on , everything else works perfectly, sound , buttons, LED light..except the display looks like it's turned off when i actually turn on the player..music plays normally but nothing on the screen.. Can You Help Me With this?

    no no no there is no display brightness setting for this yp-u3 player..it's just like it's not turning on.. but only the display you know..

I have the same player with the same problem. I couldn't even see if it was ON or OFF.

There is a possibility of either brightness/contrast set to the lowest. Try altering that.

My mp3 yp-u3 samsung can't connect to the pc all my pc usb drives r usb 2 and the driver for the yp-u3 is the latest but when ever i plug it to the usb it says unrecognised and on the mp3 display says...

Samsung YP-U3 not recognised. This device cannot start. (Code 10)
  1. Connect the USB cable to your computer.
  2. Press and hold the menu[0].jpg button while plugging the other end of the USB cable into the YP-Z5.
  3. When the display shows USB Connected, release the menu[0].jpg button.
  4. The device is now in USB mode.
  5. When through, you must safely remove the USB device. Note: To safely remove the USB device, right click the USB icon ( usb_icon.jpg ) in the bottom right of your screen, and then click Safely Remove Hardware.
  1. Upon disconnecting the device, it will return to MTP Mode.

Make sure songs are in right format, and that the id3 tags have been edited properly
