I am assuming you have the new Infinity Touch control (black). If the screen is blank, you've either lost low voltage power (an issue at your furnace) or the unit isn't properly seated on the backplate. Pull the thermostat off of the wall and reseat it properly and if this does not work, you'll probably need a pro to come troubleshoot low voltage issues.

SOURCE: Carrier Infinity DC motor drive problems

Contact the company that installed the unit. Its new, under warranty, Anything you do could void the warranty. If they do not take care of the problem without charges contact Carrier and tell them what's going on. The company who installed the unit is responsible for making it run correctly. Good luck. kstfas

SOURCE: carrier infinity control SYSTXCCUID01-B sensor communication erro

There should be a little black sensor bulb outside either on the unit normally under the electrical panel or inside it. It sound like the wire has come off or been disconected. It needs that on to properly run. Your control is trying to communicate with the outdoor unit and can not.

SOURCE: Carrier Low pressure lockout - 4 hours

If the low pressure sensor trips, the least likely problem is a bad sensor, more than likely, you have a leak in the system, this will require leak location, repair and recharged.
Also posible, a dirty air filter, plugged indoor coil, causing the indoor coil to ice up, causing a temporary low pressure issue, solution would be to clean the coils, power the system down and restart and test.
If this has been helpful, please rate the new guy :)
If you have any other questions, please give me a shout.
Sincerely,
Paul Gibson

SOURCE: carrier infinity a/c thermostat screens are blank - no power

There is a fuse in the control panel, and depending how they wired it may be a inline fuse. also there is a fuse in the airhandler also they both should be a 5 amp auto fuse.

My Carrier Infinity System Advanced Climate Control doesn't turn on?

There are some ideas here including checking the batteries in the thermostat. The first thing to try is a full power reset. Turn off the power at the breaker to everything. Wait 30 minutes and power it back one. Then wait 10 minutes for the self test to complete.

I need to replace a Carrier SYSTXCCUID01-A thermostat. I can't find a -A on eBay, but there are -B's for sale. Is the B compatible with my system?

You likely have dehumidification enabled. Although temp is satisfied humidity set point is not. Adjust humidity set point, over cooling set point, or just disable!!

Carrier infinity thermostat went blank when I touched my finger on the fan button and a static charge jumped from my finger and the screen went blank. All functions are working except the screen.

Every issue I've had with the Infinity has been a strange one. The blank screen is something I've seen and it was just a month ago. But I have no idea how I fixed it. Screen was blank but had the back light illuminated/was green but no numbers or letters displayed. I removed the tstat from its base, checked the pins on the back to see if any were bent or damaged. Tightened all wire terminals. Checked for 24v(present). Reinstalled to its base. Walked to my work truck and downloaded a manual. Walked back inside and the screen was now visable, with all numbers/letters present. I'm guessing I reset it by removing it from its power source? Also, at the indoor units' control wire terminal block, there is an A B C D. And most installers will connect 2 wires in each of these terminals. This is not correct and will give trouble due to a lost connection. You can try to tighten these low voltage terminals A B C D. The correct way to wire is at A, 1 wire is connected. That 1 wire is then connected to the 2 wires with a wirenut. B C D should be in the same way. 2 wires in this 1 terminal WILL lose connection and not communicate with the tstat. If this don't help, the tstat may need to be replaced. Hope this helps!

I have the carrier infiniti system. When my thermostat reaches the set temperature it doesn't always shut off. I shut off the main control to let it reset. It works for a while and then it starts

Carrier Infinity system is a variable speed unit that will just slow down as it approaches set point. Unless it overshoots the set temperature (you have it set on 72 and the temperature keeps rising above 72) this just sounds like normal operation.

CARRIER INFINITY WEATHERMAKER WHERE IS THE RESTART SWITCH

Carrier Infinity systems, do not have a manual reset switch. It will have an automatic reset depending on the failure.
I would first, turn off the breaker to the indoor and outdoor units. Wait about 5 mins and turn the breakers back on. Doing this will reset the Control Board in the system. The system itself, is probably locked out.
This should get the system to come back on, However, you may have the problem come back and lock out the system again.
If this happens again, i would advise calling a Carrier dealer with Infinity systems to test it.

Hope this helps
