SOURCE: I got a pink Fujifilm Finepix Z20fd and pictures won't download
You don't have to use the software that came with the Fujifilm. I have the same camera. If you're on a laptop that has a slot for SD cards, (if you have an SD card) you can just put your card straight into your computer and load the pictures that way. Also, if you have an SD card reader, you can use that. And if you're on a desktop without either of those options; once you plug your camera into your computer, go to your start menu and click 'My Computer,' then your camera should come up as a removable disk device in the folder. From there, you can drag and drop the pictures onto your desktop or your My Pictures folder.

SOURCE: My FinePix S1800 Fujifilm Digital SLR camera says Frame No. Full''
Go to set up then Frame and change to RENEW. It is probably on continuous. My camera did the same thing and this solved it.
Apparently even thought the card is empty if it is on continuous it will start the picture numbering where you left off last time.

Raw files of any type can be a problem if you don't have a program to open them but, they should download to the computer the same as a jpg file format. Are you attempting to download from the camera to the computer or do you have a card reader plugged into a USB port? Image software such as Photoshop has the ability to open and work with RAW files also with the S100fs when it was bought is a "FinePixViewer" and a program to be able to edit the files. I can't use the Fuji RAW editor because it clashed with another program and I had to remove it. I use PhotoShop CS3 for my RAW files from the Fuji S100fs. Aside from all this it shouldn't stop you from creating a file folder for your image in "Documents" and placing those images in there for future use or editing. If you can download jpg then RAW should be no different.
