My Toro 1800 Power Curve snowblower started but when I released the handle and then tried to restart it wouldn't. Wasn't even snow blowing

It may only need unplugged to reset rather then taking inside.

Likely it's a thermal switch. Try running with out moving snow and see how long it runs.

The parts diagrams online show some little parts in the drive train, thrust washers and idler/drivers. Are all those parts accounted for and in place? Is the polarity on the motor turning it the proper direction? Hope you can run it with a cover open to see what is happening or not happening. Can you turn the paddles by hand and the motor turns with it?

Is the plug receptacle you use for your blower a GFI receptacle? If so you may have to reset the GFI as they do blow very easily sometimes. There should be a switch in the plug receptacle in if it is a GFI
You may need to reset it.
I don't know if there is a reset button on your machine or not.

change the rubbers they are worn out easy

adjust the cable at the bottom will work again

Yes. Adjust the tension or perhaps you need a new belt or cable.

the best advice I can give you is search the model # on google.

Can you pull start it? If so,you may need a new starter gear,about $30,they're plastic & wear out.
