SOURCE: Can't change channels

I had exactly the same problem. I finally found the power button on the underside of the TV. It is well hidden and to find it, you need to run your fingers underneath the panel. Turn it off for a minute or so and turn it back on and then turn on the switch on the panel on the upper right side where the channel and volume buttons are. It works.

SOURCE: 96 goldwing radio no volume

Had the same problem, there is a fuse on the left side, way down under all that stuff, it is just a line fuse to the radio, it has blown, it is not in the book, and it hides real good. Drove us nuts looking for it. And when we were ready to buy a new radio, we found the fuse. Took 8 hours to totally dismantle bike to find it. Will take you 10 minutes, good luck.

P50s601 sound issue

The model number indicates a Hitachi Plasma (correct?)

If buzz etc one channel is having a problem (not likely the speaker as you have discovered)

RCA HAS A OLDER SET WITH SAME MODEL NUMBER.

Means the left channel in the audio output is defective--If you Google the model number with "service manual" you should be able to find a schematic which will tell you if a single chip is used for both channels for output (this is usual case).

With that information either the chip or the board it is located on should be able to be repaired or replaced outright.

PTS ELECTRONICS DOES REPAIR BOARDS WITH ISSUES LIKE THIS (national company) in case you cannot locate either the part or the complete board.

Hitachi customer service may also be of help if you contact them--one channel low, buzz etc almost always is in output circuit of the audio.

Well my 5500 amp has evidently stoppe functioning.

What I would do is look around inside and see if anything is burnt or broken, pay close attention to the heat sink area.
With neither channel working you have something that's common to both channels that is causing the trouble.
You should be able to see any fuse by looking inside, they might be covered up, but should be easy to get to.

No sound out of left speaker

did the left channel work when u switched speakers, if so then the left speaker or wiring is a fault.if not then the output circuits on the amp are blown or the fuse is blown some amps have internal fuses in the output to protect the output transistors. unplug the power cord and take the cover off, look to see if u can find any fuses and check these for continuity u can hold these up to the light and u should see a fine filiment in one piece and not broken. these fuses sometimes blow just from age and use at high volume like a regular light bulb.If the fuse is blown replace with the same value else the output transistors will need to be replaced most likley along with the drivers.

MG100HDFX Amp - crunch setting seems too loud

There are 2 channels, Which means there are 2 sets of knobs ... One for clean and one for crunch. Start out with a low master volume and set up the crunch, Then the clen and switch between the 2 and make adjustments until they match volume wise ... Then turn the master up.

Hitachi SR-2000 receiver's right speaker connection does not work

The SR-2000 has fuses for both left and right outputs. Make sure neither are blown. Otherwise this receiver has a STK 463 integrated chip that controls the output for both channels. When replacing the STK-463 it is also acceptable to use STK-465.
