On the left side of the brew unit there should be a metal wire that is bent in the shape of a U that scrapes the grounds off the top of the brewing chamber - the puck then should slide down a small chute that is the shape of a W - into the waste container. Sometimes the Chute can be found installed upside down - shape of an M - it is easily reversed if that is the case

SOURCE: Gaggia Titanium dumps ground coffe inside unit

Hi
You have 2 knobs in the bean hopper. The small one is set to the most positive. Turn it back 1 click from the plus and that should take care of your problem. When you have a clean brew unit it will make the first coffee but a little coffee is left in the brew unit and when it tries to make the second coffee a full charge and the little that was left cause an over charge, and dumps the coffee without making anything.

SOURCE: grinding and dumping coffee without making a cup.

Check the grind it might be too fine, then check the screen under the red o-ring in the brew unit it might be blocked.

SOURCE: when I brew a cup of coffee there are coffee

Take your K-cup out and it splits into two pieces. The buttom half has a chamber where coffee grounds that slip out can sit. When it builds up you tend to see allot of grounds in your coffee.

Also check that your top needle seat is there and in good condition.

If you need assistance further my email is [email protected] and my site which sells keurig parts is http://wwww.Igotsweetdeals.com/

Hope I helped you!

SOURCE: Miele CVA 4075 brew unit locked

Turn your machine off. Close the door. Depress <clear>, holding it down, press <on/off> then let go of both. Then press <clear> 3 times. On 3rd time, hold it until Service menu appears. Select <brew unit> then press left arrow to turn from <off> to <on>. Then press right arrow by <select> This will turn your brew unit drive to the correct position and you should be able to get your brew unit in/out and your waste container back in. Make sure to turn your machine off/on again to get out of Service Menu. I have a picture of how the wire needs to be inserted to get that back on. It's definitely not intuitive, but send another note with your email address and I can send the pics.

SOURCE: brewed coffee goong into used grounds holder

HI
That is a stripped thumbscrew. You need a new one. When it starts to brew, the stripped thumbscrew pushes up and allows the coffee to fill the head and dredge drawer.
The plastic rod that has 2 small hooks on the end and has ribs around the opposite end is your thumbscrew. It holds the filter screen in place. There is suppose to be a small round nut that is molded into the position between the legs with the hooks. If you use the key to tighten the thumbscrew you will pull the nut out and then the thumbscrew will pop out of the brew head. Check the stem of the filter screen. If you have an item that is about 3/8 of an inch long and has a grove in the middle and small bumps on it, that’s the nut. You need a new thumbscrew. Remove the old nut on the stem before putting it in the new thumbscrew. Remember it’s a thumbscrew, so it only needs to be finger tight. The key is for removing only.

Testimonial: "nailed it! Now I just need a new thumbscrew"

CVA 4066 built-in Coffee System. Why doesn't it dispense more than a tiny bit of coffee into a cup?

Just so you know, we are Fixya, we aren't Miele.

You need a seal kit, basically a set of o-rings for the brew head. This machine ends up in Fixya far too frequently!

Miele CVA 4075 is dispensing only 1/2 cup of coffee and I have an excessive amount of water in the waste container. I descale and clean regularly. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks

It needs the brew unit cleaned - descaling is mainly for the heaters. The Brew unit tablet (the one the size of a sweetart) is used to clean just the brew unit. In the maintance menu your will find clean brew unit - follow the bouncing ball

I cannot get my Miele CVA470 waste container back in after I put the brew unit in. The slide that has the W piece is blocking the waste unit's entry.

It is because the brew unit is not in the "rest" position. Somebody plaid with it or there is a malfunction with the brew unit so it is not in the initial position. Post a picture of the brew unit in place (without the waste container) and I will make my best to help you.

I have miele CVA 4070 It just recently started only brewing about 1/2 to 2/3 cup of coffee or espresso and the rest of it goes into the waste container. So the waste container has a watery puck and...

Have you clean the brew unit with the cleaning tablets? This dissolves and rids the brew unit of the oils which in turn build up and clog the brew unit - the result being watery pucks and less product being disbursed.

If the Hot water and the steam function work fine - then I would say the water system and heaters are good. Are the grounds being dumped in the waste dry? I would guess so. The brew unit drive sounds to be the issue - it has a valve on it that dumps the water to waste if the pressure is to great - the waste valve sometimes gets stuck, but in your scenario it sounds as if the brew unit is not being driven to full compression (the clicking sound) and if that is the case the operation is cancelled. One thing you may try - set the grind to coarse and try a small cup - this is easier on the drive and may work - showing the Valve is good and the brew unit drive is starting to weaken.
Hope that helps
