SOURCE: no fill - drain pump running - I assume stuck float switch

remove the bottom plate of the dishwasher and the bottom pan is revealed. reason the drain pump is running will be that this pan has water in it ie you have a leak. mop out the water and dishwasher will work - switch off mains when you do this

SOURCE: hotpoint aquarius wf325 filter problem, not accessable??

If you are certain that your washer has no filter at the front behind the lower removable panel, it is usually held on by 3 scews which you have to undo, or just held in place with plastic lugs, then you will have to remove the lower rear cover of washer. Locate large black hose at lower right of tub, remove clip and hose.
inside you will see the plastic filter,
Remove and clean filter, refit filter and plastic ball if it has one, refit hose and clip securely, and water test for leaks.
Be careful when you remove hose as there will be water run out.

Please make sure you have it unplugged before you do all this.
Plz rate my solution, and feel free to leave any comments.
Thanks.

You can access through back panel. But before you do, make sure there is not a kink in the drain hose, it is very common

SOURCE: miele W1712 washing machine drain fault

Just had the same problem, after Much patience and persistence I found the blockage at the y piece that joins the pump to the outlet hose air trap towards the top of the machine LHS with the top and cover off.

It was clogged solid therefore no back pressure on the top little ball valve (between the air trap and the outlet) therefore no seal therefore norain therefore a drain-fault that persists regardless of a cleaned pump filter.

Switch dishwasher on and starts up ok but when it comes to pumping water in it stops and does not do anything else.

Hello

Investigate these five areas if your dishwasher won't fill with water:

As water is filling your dishwasher, a float rises along with it. When the float reaches a predetermined level, it shuts off the flow of water, thereby preventing a leak. Sometimes the float can get stuck in the wrong position in your dishwasher, and it can prevent your dishwasher from filling. Check your float assembly. Replace it if you need to.

The water that fills your dishwasher lifts the float, and when it reaches a certain level, it acts as a trigger for the float switch. The float triggers the float switch to shut off, thereby shutting off the flow of water into the dishwasher. A defective switch may interfere with your dishwasher's filling ability.

Your dishwasher may not be filling with water simply because the water valve's filter screens are dirty and debris-filled. Gain access to your water inlet valve and try cleaning it out. This might be enough to solve the problem. You can learn how to access your water inlet valve in the replace a dishwasher water inlet valve section.

Alternatively, your water inlet valve could be defective altogether. That could be the reason your dishwasher is not filling. Test it for continuity. If it is not functioning as it should, replace it.

Your dishwasher's drain valve is regulated by a drain solenoid. If the solenoid is malfunctioning, it may not allow the drain valve to funtion properly, which in turn could be the reason your dishwasher is not filling with water. Investigate your drain valve and test the solenoid. If the solenoid is faulty, replace it.

My d 3122 keeps filling, overflows and pumps out,... it trpis the flooded switch. Ive tested the filling solenoid and it works ok. I suspect the pressure switch....where is it and what does it look...

The float switch is located on the inside of the dishwaser. Under the bottom rack and it moves up and down make sure it goes up and down freely that should tell the water to stop pumping in when the float rises

We have a neff dishwasher and the pump is draining all the time (even when the door is open) but there is no water in the dishwasher. Is there a way to stop the pump and reset the setting for the flood...

Hello,
The water which has activated the antiflood device is actually underneath the appliance it is held in the sump tray and this has to be drained before the A.F.D.will cancel. You will have to remove the dishwasher to get at the underneath but when you have got rid of the water you will still have to trace what caused it.The seal on the circulation pump could be a suspect or a pin hole in the drain hose.

Hope this helps.

Miele G 7856 Commercial Dishwasher

Hi. The above machine stops mid cycle and drain/fill light is on, also error code F3E, have cleaned both hot and cold water inlet filters, also checked drain pump and drain line, all ok. Machine drains with no issues and fills with hot water, runs for a while then shuts down.
Any ideas?

Dishlex dishwasher global 300. Dishwasher continues to drain with ECO light flashing. Service manual says it is due to an incorrect fill level or fill line.

Some diswashers have a sump in the bottom with a float switch. If the water level overflows the float will activate the switch which will kill the machine and run the drain pump continuously.

MDB7600AW water level

I'm not sure if it is suppose to fill above the heating element. The heating element may just be there to dry the dishes instead of heating the water. Try using a pitcher to fill the unit manually to above the heating element. If water drips out from below the kick plate then you know the water is not suppose to go that high.

Let’s say the unit is indeed under filling.

Check for a deformed shaft on the water level float. Remove the kick plate and look for where the shaft of the float touches a micro switch. Often the shaft is bent sideways and only engaging the micro switch indirectly. Straighten by hand for a temporary fix or reinforce the shaft with aluminum tape and sewing needle. Keep the retrofit light weight to avoid problems with water overflow.

Water won't fill

when facing the dw pull it out from under counter and on the left side there is a panel held on with 2 screws. take that off and under there are the float switches for the overflow. those switches is what causes the pump to run all the time but do nothing else.
