It’s possible the line which drains it into the washer. We had this on our Maytag stack set. Took off front of machine & cleaned the hose. Amaging how goofy it became! Very thick stuff. We Quit using softer as if it thickens in the line it might be ruining other parts. Ck you manual to see were the line is & if assessable by removing a side or front panel, etc good luck

is there a drain on the bottom left corner if so drain the contents its usually under a small panel

Hi emily446,
Take out your Tray from the drawer (Usually un-clips on the sides or top)
Then clean the holes inside the drawer at the roof. There will be small holes, clean these with either ear-buds or toothpicks. These holes get clogged quite often, and cleaning them will allow water through to the machine again.
Also clean the tray, especially near the hole at the back where the fabric softener gets siphoned through.
