Replace it, they are not expensive. They are a disposable item.

SOURCE: Power outage this am. Wii won't even turn on

Usually, after a power outage, a power spike (when the power returns) can disable/blow the fuse in the AC adapter for the Wii.

Try the following steps in this order:

FIRST:
- unplug the Wii's power cord from the wall, and leave it unplugged (from 5 mins. to 5 hours). Then, plug it back into the wall. (Unplugging the power cord from the back of the Wii will not help. You need to unplug the power cord from the wall.)
- This usually helps reset the fuse circuit in the AC adapter, and your Wii should work again.

SECOND:
- open the panel on the AC adapter box in the power cord; since the screws are proprietary, you will need to creatively use existing tools to turn the screws
- check the 3A fuse in that box; if it looks blown, then replace it

THIRD:
- it might be cheaper to replace the AC adapter with another one

FOURTH:
- get the unit repaired

MUST DO:
- buy a SURGE PROTECTOR power bar, and plug all of your expensive items into it (to prevent this from happening again).

Hope that helps!

I have a Utilitech In Wall Digital Timer Lowes Item #: 141224 | Model #: LW60418, purchased from Lowes. I've lost the instructions and can't figure out how to set the timer after a power...

Open following link for Utilitec timer manual:
http://waterheatertimer.org/Program-wire-Utilitec-LW60418.html

This timer should have a back-up capacitor so that programming is kept in memory during power outage.
Power outage is known cause of timer failure. When power turns on, the surge knocks out electronics.
People writing to fixya report electronic timers and electronic water heater controls stop working after power outage. Probably many other electronic devices are affected too, but that would be out of my specialty.
Troubleshoot says 'in case of operational failure, press reset button to clear all settings and restart.'
If timer has failed, buy another from Lowes and return defect in new package.

I have a Woods Decora time we use on our bathroom vent fan. It is preset for 5-10-15-30 minutes. It now runs for 5-10-15-30 SECONDS! How can I fix it?

There are no repairs for electronic wall timers.
Timers have 1 year warranty against defects in workmanship. This sounds like the case here.

Try timer on different circuit and see if same malfunction appears.

Woods is rated for 1/4 HP and will handle bath fan, so load does not sound like a problem.
Timer worked before, so wiring is correct.
Power outages can knock out timers when the power turns on again and timer is exposed to surge.

View countdown timers:
Electronic Leviton 6200 series and Leviton LTB series are more robust than Woods.
Mechanical rotary-type timers have no electronics, and last many years without problems.
Buy locally: GE countdown timers are sold at Home Depot. Advantage of store-bought timer is hassle-free warranty: buy new timer and return defect timer in new package.

Programming to command other switches

Question is not clear.
Add a comment and say specifically what timer you have and what type of switch(es) you want to control, and add what voltage you are working with and what color wires you have.

You posted under Leviton 6230 30-minute countdown timer.
Generally, a countdown timer is not considered a programmable timer since the countdown program is already inside the timer.
With countdown timer, you push a button that turns circuit ON, and after countdown expires, the circuit turns OFF.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Countdown-timer-horsepower-ratings.html#6230

Countdown timer can easily switch a contactor ON, and then turn it off after countdown expires.

If you have different timer, look at link below to help identify timer.
Leviton Timers:

Leviton 6124 timer instructions:
Timer comes with plastic protector over display >> remove protector to see display.
Large button is manual override.
After timer is wired, push override to make sure Load turns ON and OFF.

Timer has 3 small buttons located below manual override used for programming
Display is divided into 24-hours with am times on left and pm on right.
24 Hour day is divided into 1/2 Hour segments
Each 1/2 hour must be set for ON or OFF

Start by pushing left-side event-cursor-advance-button and it scrolls down each 1/2 Hour.
Once you arrive at 1/2 hour > make decision if you want timer ON or OFF for that half hour.

Press event-set-reset-button in center to set ON-OFF for that 1/2 hour.

Press center event-set-reset-button and solid black rectangle fills in for that half hour.
Solid black rectangle means timer ON for that 1/2 Hour.

Once solid square is selected, press event-cursor-advance-button and cursor advances again and starts filling in black rectangles for each 1/2 Hour period.
Keep filling in black rectangles for all times you want timer ON.

When you reach 1/2 Hour period you want timer OFF, then press center event-set-reset-button so that no black rectangle is visible for that 1/2 hour.
No black rectangle means timer is OFF for that half hour.

To set current time, use right-side time-advance-button.
Press and hold time-advance and time cursor advances down through the am and then pm hours.
Stop cursor at current time, and timer is ready.

How can I program my Leviton timer model 6651-I?

Leviton 6651 Manual.
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Leviton-6651-manual.pdf
Timer requires a battery which should be replaced each 12 to 18 months.
Timer replaces single-pole or 3-way switch, and does not need a separate neutral wire.
Timer is for incandescent lights only.
500 Watt capacity
Push the door for manual override to reverse program that is in effect.

The 14 hour timing period is represented by 24 dip switches.
Each dip switch is positioned for ON or OFF.

Click the dip switch right or left
Start at the bottom
For example: ON for 3 hours, OFF for 4 hours, ON again for 3 hours:
Click dip switches 1 thru 3 to ON position, 4 thru 7 to OFF position, 8 thru 10 to ON position
ON position is to the right.
OFF position is to the left.

At the end of the 14 hour program, the timer turns lights OFF until the original start time is reached after 24 hours.
Timer will operate like this while in AUTO mode, until function switch is moved from AUTO to MAN or OFF modes.
Function switch is located at very bottom of timer door.
To activate program (on first day), function switch is set to OFF position for 2 seconds, and then move function switch to AUTO mode, and programming cycle begins.
