White rodgers 153 7758 1 or 2 stage? - Honeywell Programmable Thermostat Heater

The White-Rogers 1F78 thermostat is a single stage 5/2 day programmable thermostat. Home Depot has the manuals for one model of this thermostat, 1F78-151, on the product page: https://www.homedepot.com/p/White-Rodgers-Single-Stage-Digital-5-2-Day-Programmable-Thermostat-1F78-151/202771121 . • Hi, This is a good stat and I have used it alot in the past as it is a older model. If you have 24 volt control voltage at the stat, and the battires are good, then you have a malfuntion in the ciruitry and will need to replace it. The LED indicator shall illuminate YELLOW when second stage heat or second stage cool is being called.

"+2" indicates when a second stage is energized.

“System On” indicates when heating or cooling stage is energized. “System On +2” indicates when a second stage is energized. This means that the thermostat is sending the correct signal to your AC equipment to run but your unit is not responding on the call of the thermostat, Most of the case this is a system issue not the thermostat, you need to contact your installer to resolve the problem.

White-Rodgers Multi-Stage Thermostate Diagrams for Contractors

What were each wire connected to on the white rodgers? The connectors on the white rodgers should have markings. Tell me this and I can tell you how to wire your new stat. This hunter will not work with multi stage heat pumps..so I need to know what was connected to what on the white rodgers to know what type of unit. Thanks Kevin
