I have the original fallout 3 game and got the game of the year edition a year later i put all the add ons on the game took broken steel and the pitt off until im ready to play them but now the game keeps...

You might need an update from xbox live. If there is one available you'll have to delete any saved games and start fresh. The original release contains a glitch that the update should fix but if you keep playing on a saved game the glitch will persist.

I can't seem to figure out Fallout 3 downloads

if you have two hard drives and you keep on switching the two hard drives with it, it starts to not allow you to play on one of your hard drives you have to use the original hard drive that you downloaded it onto with the account that you bought it on and download it again. see if it works.

New xbox old hard drive but now the add ons will not load

You will need to download the add-on's again if you haven't done so again already.

The last mission wont start after buying "broken steel" on ym 360

You need to download the latest patch for the game. Sign into xbox live and run the game. It will sign you out then start the download for the patch. You NEED this patch to play broken steel.

Fallout 3 Freezing Problems???

Fallout 3 freezing is an unfortunately common problem. A lot of people have reported that clearing the game cache on your 360 will fix it, so that's what I would suggest you try first.

To do this:
  1. start up your 360, then take out the Fallout 3 game disc.
  2. Hold down the A button on the Player 1 controller
  3. Put Fallout 3 in your 360, then load the game
If this doesn't fix it, the next thing you could try is to clear the system cache. This will clear the entire cache for your 360, including the automatic updates (though downloaded content, save files, and user dats will be untouched).

To do this:
  1. Navigate to System > Memory
  2. Highlight the hard disk in the list and press Y
  3. Press X, X, LB, RB, X, X
If done right, you should see a message asking, "perform system maintenance?" Proceed with this, and it will clear all the cache data out and revert Fallout 3 back to version 1.0 (it should ask you to update once you load the game)

Hope this helps - I've had my share of frustration with Fallout 3 glitches.

Fallout 3 freez

Try to save RIGHT before you think your gonna freeze then keep on trying to do that. Or maybe try to get the Pitt+Anchorage pack so you can get the patch.

Frozen Fallout 3

I would download the game to the hard drive and it freezes a lot because its on open world rgp so it has to load a lot.. But if you download Fall Out 3 to your hard drive it will increase load times and reduce freezing.
