I have a Frigidaire Affinity dryer model bkqe7071mt0. It has power but won't start for any cycle selected. The display lights come up showing power and it's making a sound like it wants to start but won't spin at all. After about 5 seconds it automatically switches itself to Pause. And then after about 5 seconds it will switch to the time of the cycle - i.e. "50", and then back to "PAU". It won't display any error code even when I hold the cancel and pause buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds. Any ideas? I've added a photo of the display after it pauses itself. Thank you.

If you just paused the washer and now displays a error try draining any existing water all out of the machine.Before re filling it see if you still get the error message.I'll be happy to guide you through this.

I fixed this myself and it only took about 5 minutes. The problem is the door latch needs to be reset, which requires unplugging it's three electrical connections. This has to be done inside the washer outer seal, but it is easy to get to. First remove the outer ring that holds the seal on. Next remove only the side of the seal closest to the door latch (again only the outer seal needs to be undone). With this done remove the two screws holding the door latch in place (inside). Remove the latch, unplug the three connectors, plug them back in then reassemble everything. When all is back in place hit "cancel" and it should be good to go.
