Remove the pedal, clean the threads on both parts. Put Red Loctite on the threads and torque it down. Leave 24 hours before use.

Have you updated the software? Have you contacted the manufacturyouer? It may need a software update. Without knowing the make and model it is difficult to direct you for a fix. If you have a manual, look at the trouble shooting section.

Is this happening on any program you click on? If so it means a virus has changed your program file associations.

Click Start/Control Panel/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore
When system restore opens select a date and time that was before this problem started happening. Let the system restore run to completion.
Don't worry, System Restore does not destroy any of your data, documents, music, pictures or videos. System Recovery destroys everything and sets the computer back to when you first purchased it.

If the virus won't let you start system restore then turn off your computer and turn it back on, start hitting the F8 key repeatedly until you see SAFE MODE. Select the safe mode option and when it boots up click Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore and from there select a date and time that was before you started having the problem.

If you still have a problem after doing the restore, report back and there is about 30 different little programs you will have to run to get your program file associations set back to their default settings.

Your program controller unit is working but it must be ensured that there is output on every cycle to the desired output controls. So the inlet valve must work and the motor must run when the water level is triggered by the level controller. So use a meter to check before we can suspect the controller.

Go the your Start menu, Programs, and the Canon Printer's category,
Select the Toolbox/Options, choose to preform a "Cleaning" of your cartridge.
