Keep turning it off and on with the reset button until it turns on properly - this may take a few goes. Then plug it into the computer and update it with ver 5.08. After that turn the player off and let it install the updates. After this the problem will still occur.. Turn on / reset the player (again, may take a few goes) and go into Settings --> System --> Format.
This should fix it.
NB: after resetting all data stored on device will be lost. You will have to reload all music, pictures, videos etc.

Hello just replying to a problem I had with my YP-T9. I would like to thank you for your response and I do not need further support. As a have solved the problem. This was done by looking at other comments and I followed a comment that was similar to my own on Fixya.
However thank you once again.

set your mp3 ready to find your headphones.
1. Turn headset off
2. press and hold the "calling button" ---do not let go---
3. slide the on/off switch to "on" don't let go of the "calling button"
4. it will flash blue red and purple (twice) then will turn solid blue
5. let go of the button
6. your mp3 should be able to find it now (that puts headset on discovery mode)
if it works for you don't forget to rate me
thx
