How to bypass a water level switcb of a washing machine samsung brand thanks

  • Anonymous Mar 09, 2019

If it is a top loading machine like mine it uses the weight of the laundry load to determine how much water to dispense. For me, and most everyone else, this amount is far too little to provide effective cleaning & rinsing. So . . . question is . . . how to make the washer think I'm washing a bigger load of clothes. Answer - my normal load is approx. 8lbs. After adding the clothes to the washer, and before starting the wash cycle, I pour 1 gallon of water over the clothes allowing the water to soak into the fabric. 1 gallon of water weighs 8 lbs. So now when I start the wash cycle and the washer load sensor is determining how large the load is, it thinks there are 16 lbs. of clothes loaded into the washer and dispenses twice as much water as it would for my normal 8 lb. load. Yes, you gotsta' keep filling a jug/bucket/whatever of water from time to time. But you're not voiding any warranty, bypassing any necessary electrical deivce, or abusing the ability of the machine. Just gotta' be smarter than the washer. You're welcome.

You did not post the model number. I would not recommend doing this. There is a sensor next to the tub that can become plugged with softener. They can be cleaned and work good.

SOURCE: water level drops during wash/rinse cycle

Check the exit hose behind, it should be at least 3 feet from ground level, and not too deep into the wall stand-pipe. You will find a level mark behind the machine......check this out.

Your pump pumps this water OVER this height.

SOURCE: lg wm2277h has low water level

The water level is very low on front load machines. (Below the bottom of the door) While the washer is running, push and hold the "spin speed" and "soil level" buttons at the time. Display should be between 230 and 255.(normal) If you do this while the machine is filling, you will see the numbers change. This machine only uses about 12 gallons of water for an entire cycle, vs. about 45 for some top loading machines. THIS IS NORMAL ! The machine will adjust the amount of water based on the type and volume of clothes in your washer. On a large load, you will see wet clothes, but no water sloshing around. PS. Because the machine uses so little water, make sure you use only one tablespoon of HE detergent (and only one teaspoon of fabric softner if you use it). This is very important.

Samsung washing machine, model WA13V9 error 1E

Hi,

This relates to the water level in your washer or the sensor that tracks it. It might be malfunctioning and need to be replaced or you might need to check the hose that passes water into your washing machine to make sure that it does not have any leaks.

Thank you.

While moving my samsung top washing machine, I think my drain hose pipe has moved down the water level. Now machine is not able to retain the water while washing/soaking. I need to pull the drain hose pipe...

Hi,

Although a few modern washing machines can operate with the drain pipe at any height, most machines will drain the water as soon as the drain pipe is placed below the machine water level.

The simplest solution for your problem would be to ask somebody with some handy man skills or hire a plumber to add a 2 inch PVC pipe to your drainage pipe which extends to a point behind your washing machine & then points upwards, making sure it is long enough to be at a higher point than your machines fullest water level.
This should be a relatively inexpensive alteration & will ensure that water does not drain unless the machine is on its drain cycle.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.
Best wishes,
Graeme

Error code ( IE ) on my samsung washing machine model wa13g7q1

1E - WATER PRESSURE SWITCH ERROR

* Generated Frequency Signal of WATER LEVEL (WIL) SIW (KHz)

Normal Level = Abnormal W/L Frequency
Low Level = 30.00 Khz
High Level = 15.00 Khz

If the same signal is detected for more than 5 seconds, it is a PRESSURE SWITCH Error. When this error occurs the drain pump will operate for 3 min. and the display will show 1 E indicating a pressure switch error.

Samsung J845 front loader washing machine. Error

Hi
An OE error presents if the washing machine has not successfully drained the water in ten minutes.
there are a few simple steps to take before calling for service.
Step 1: Check the drain pump filter.
Items caught in the drain filter will prevent proper drainage. Over time build up can occur from detergents and additives used in the machine. Manually drain unit through the drain hose, then lay a towel down to catch the water, and remove the filter. Clean the filter thoroughly and restart the machine.

Step 2: Check the washers drain hose.
If the drain hose is not installed properly, the washer will not drain properly. The drain hose should not be installed more than 1 meter higher than the bottom of the washing machine.

Step 3: Confirm that the washer is leveled properly.
If the unit is not leveled properly, it will not drain properly. The front of the unit cannot be higher than the back or vice versa. If not properly leveled, the water can flow back into the machine. If this is the cause of the problem, please level the machine using the supplied leveling wrench. When you place a level on the washing machine, the bubble should be in the center. Confrim that the washer is leveled from side to side and front to back.
you can perform a diagonal test when leveling the washing machine to ensure that the unit does not tilt from corner to corner.

Bosch washing machine will not fill, spin, drain..has power and water to machine...perhaps circuit board?

If it won't fill it may not spin or drain unless the water level switch is bypassed. I would check the water valve & the water level switch and tube from level switch to tub must be air tight no holes.
The water level switch must kick in to agitate. I'm not sure on Bosch but some work like this..
