Since you indicate that two remotes do not work, I am guessing the receiver on the opener is the problem. Verify that connections to the terminals (located where the wires from your hardline buttons are connected) are intact.

SOURCE: remotes quit working for garage door

I had the same problem with my Craftsman opener but different model. However to fix this I simply followed the instructions that came with the opener and reprogramed the remote to the opener. The instructions are in your owners manual and are pretty straight forward.. John

SOURCE: Garage door opener remote won't work

meerkat1 your receiver has quit working which is part of the logic board. The logic board runs around $80.00 for the part alone. Might be time to get a new opener.

Ken, you may have to reprogram transmitter after battery change, check your manual, if you do not have manual, Google search your make and model# manual.

Automatic garage door not responding to any transmitters

Sounds like you need to reprogram all the remotes. Instructions should be with the new unit and even on the back of the unit up top .I just reprogrammed all of mine. When I installed my wall unit the others quit as well so I reprogrammed them. all.

HOW TO FIX MY REMOTE CONTROL FOR GARAGE DOOR OPENER

Maybe time to change the remote battery? Many remotes also suffer from poor solder joints where the battery terminals are. Check the terminals and re-solder as needed.

Cannot re-program remote transmitters for garage door opener

If both remotes quit at or about the same time then it is most likely the receiver that has quit. Especially if you have had electrical storms in the area. The receiver is part of your logic board.

Garage door opener will not respond to security plus remotes

Reset the Liftmaster unit. There should be a red reset button on the unit in the garage. If this does not work, reset the breaker. Good Luck!

All garage door transmitter would not work

The lock is probably engaged. Look at the wall button, the green light is probably flashing. Hold down the lock button for 3 seconds and light should be solid. Your remotes should work now
