SOURCE: standby button stuck
Hello. Check all of the buttons on your unit to make sure that they are not stuck...you can feel the click they make as you push it then they pop back out as your finger pulls off. Any stuck button will lock up your microprocessor and keep the unit from turning on. All other problems will require a consumer electronics technician to trouble-shoot the turn on circuit. If you know how to use a meter and know how to solder\unsolder and require further assistance you can contact me. Good luck.

SOURCE: ONKYO 875 CONNECTED TO A
indictor on amp only shows Ls and Rs. the sub and rear not incating
SOURCE: my onkyo displays "protected"
there is an internal shorting inside the amp that puts the amp in protect mode also check if the amp comes on after disconnecting the speakers
SOURCE: I have a Onkyo HT-R350 receive and it wont power
Power on relay is not working, there is a small black box with one clear side, usually relay will click when unit powers on, will need an expert to replace part but sometimes unit can be tapped to make this connection or cleaned so it will make a good connection. Parts are very small, the box is only 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch by 1/4 inch, taking the clear cover off and cleaning could be very hard to do. I have one like this I just smack it on the side of the receiver and it comes on.
