Logitech spotlight won't advance slides

The remote is connected via USB, and I've tried it via Bluetooth. It IS connected, the spotlight works great, but the button will not advance slides. I am using a Mac with the latest software (just updated).

SOURCE: can't connect to usb port

Hi all! I had the exact same problem - the remote recognized the USB connection but my computer (MacBook with Leopard) / Logitech software did not.  I took the advice of  bfuzcsvxvgk  and it worked like a charm.  I wasn't sure what the "Home" folder that he or she referred was, so instead I entered "Logitech" into the Spotlight finder and the Logitech folder came up.  There was only one file (usblancognac.cmd) in the folder and I deleted it. After that I reopened the Harmony Remote software and it opened! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!  Hope this helps if you are having problems!

SOURCE: Slides won't advance or reverse

The AF-2 is suffering from old age! The problem you are experiencing is "continuous cycle", and is caused by the cycle contact either being bent or worn to the point it can't stop the cycle camstack at the end of a slide change. If you are familiar with projector repair, I can give you specific instructions. Otherwise, I suggest you locate an authorized repair dealer. Even though the projector is old, all the necessary parts are available from: www.micro-tools.com
Good Luck !! Jim

Simple bluetooth support for logitech keyboard Y-raj56a?

Unfortunately, Logitech does not offer any Bluetooth support for the Logitech Y-RAJ56A keyboard. The keyboard is designed to be used with a wired connection, and it does not have any Bluetooth capabilities.

Yes, you can use a Bluetooth adapter to connect your Logitech Y-RAJ56A keyboard to a Bluetooth enabled device. However, you should bear in mind that the keyboard will not have any additional features or support when connected via Bluetooth.

So you will need to purchase a Bluetooth adapter. The Kinivo BTD-400 Bluetooth 4.0 USB Adapter is a good choice and is compatible with most versions of Windows and Mac.

P.S.
BTD400 Advisory
A recent update to Windows is preventing the BTD-400 from locating drivers automatically when plugged in for the first time. Please visit the article below to set up the BTD-400 Bluetooth Adapter for the first time.

How do you connect logitech a-0006 via bluetooth ? lost usb reciever/transmitter.

If you do not have the Bluetooth dongle (plugs into a USB port) you should contact Logitech for a replacement. Alternatively you can also look for one second hand via craigslist, ebay, etc.etc.

My nokia 2680 s cannot be detected by my PC

The 2680 slide has no USB connectivity, as do very few (if any) of the 2xxx series phones.

The 2680 has no user-level USB connectivity.

If there is a USB port on the phone it is intended purely for use by service personnel.

Connectivity with your PC can be achieved via Bluetooth.

Even if you do find a cable that fits the phone, PC Suite will not be able to communicate with the phone via USB.

Visit http://www.forum.nokia.com/devices/2680_slide and unfold the "Connectivity" part of the specifications.

There is no USB mentioned in there, only BlueTooth.

Im trying to use PDAnet with bluetooth I have the bluetooth card installed on my laptop tuning vista, and it has an error that says that I need to install the bluetooth software for the phone, and I've...

Make sure you have bluetooth on on both, and that you are connected via bluetooth to your computer.

Turn on pda net on your DI and enable bluetooth dun.

Now go to your bluetooth settings on your computer and double click on your device, a new service should pop up allowing you to enable dun/modem and select that.

right click on your di bluetooth connection on your computer and create a dial up modem.

select the generic bluetooth modem, not the pdanet modem.

Type 123 in the phone number and leave the username and password blank and click connect.

Now you can right click on your DI bluetooth icon on your computer and select connect to the modem connection you just created.

After using my DI as a modem over bluetooth there are a few things to consider.

1. yeah it works great.

2. Its a battery **** fest.

Constant 3g with constant bluetooth = constant battery draw.

I would still recommend using your pdanet via the usb cable, seeing as this will keep the battery level charged, as well as same speed!

Remote wont charge in cradle or by usb connection...charge cradle seems to be working but remote is now flat...what do you suggest

Try pushing down on the remote to ensure that the pins are making contact. If that does not work, you can buy a new charger for the remote from Logitech. They are only $10.

Harmony One USB Connection Problem on Vista PC

HI. So there are a couple of things you will have to ensure for the connectivity to be successful.

1. You are not connected to the internet via a router

2. You are not on a wireless network

3. Any firewalls on your computer are disabled

4. Your USB cable and port are good, and the remote is not connected to a USB hub but right into the compter.

Now, please do the following:

1. Uninstall the software

2. Download it again at http://logitech.com/myharmony
3. Install
4. In your computer's add/remove programs, uninstall the Logitech Desktop Messenger

5. Take out the battery, press and hold the "OFF" button, and re-insert it. The remote will display "Safe Mode"

6. Connect your remote and log in to your account

7. Click "Downloads" at the top and select "Firmware". The firmware on the remote will update.

8. Click "Replace Remote" to conduct a connectivity check.

9. Update the remote.

That should get the remote working. :)
