The remote is connected via USB, and I've tried it via Bluetooth. It IS connected, the spotlight works great, but the button will not advance slides. I am using a Mac with the latest software (just updated).

Hi all! I had the exact same problem - the remote recognized the USB connection but my computer (MacBook with Leopard) / Logitech software did not. I took the advice of bfuzcsvxvgk and it worked like a charm. I wasn't sure what the "Home" folder that he or she referred was, so instead I entered "Logitech" into the Spotlight finder and the Logitech folder came up. There was only one file (usblancognac.cmd) in the folder and I deleted it. After that I reopened the Harmony Remote software and it opened! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Hope this helps if you are having problems!

SOURCE: Slides won't advance or reverse
The AF-2 is suffering from old age! The problem you are experiencing is "continuous cycle", and is caused by the cycle contact either being bent or worn to the point it can't stop the cycle camstack at the end of a slide change. If you are familiar with projector repair, I can give you specific instructions. Otherwise, I suggest you locate an authorized repair dealer. Even though the projector is old, all the necessary parts are available from: www.micro-tools.com
Good Luck !! Jim
