Does the photo below look like the back of your watch? If yes, simply unscrew the four tiny screws and carefully lift the back plate off. Gently remove the battery, replace it and refit the back plate and screws.
*Note*. Once opened, the water resistance of the watch will be reduced as there is no longer a tight seal.

SOURCE: Remove link form Relic Wrist band

For my relic ZR15372, all I did was take a thin, hard object (a thumbtack in my case) and carefully pushed out the connecting bar from the link.

If you look at the inside of the band of your watch, you may notice that on some of the links (the ones nearest the clasp for me) there is a little arrow pointing at the side - if you look at the side of the links, there should be a little hole, big enough to push a thumbtack into. If you apply enough pressure (again, carefully - no need to stab your thumb or any other part of your body), the connector pin should slide out a little on the other side. Then it's just a matter of pulling the pin out - perhaps a pair of tweezers would do the trick.

Hope this works for you!

SOURCE: Shortening the Length of a Metal Wrist Band

I just did this for my wife's new Kenneth Cole wrist watch rather easily. You don't need a screwdriver, but a short section of a paper clip will do. I just set the band on a raise surface to allow room for the pin to be pushed out using the paper clip. For this watch, one side of the pin resembles the slotted side of a small screw - but it is not a screw. This is the side that bulges up a bit to help the pin stay in place. I believe if you punch it out from the opposite side it will fall off quickly, but if you do from the bulged side it, too, will come out but with some resistance. To reattach the band you need to punch the pin into the slot in such a way that its bulged side is on top otherwise you may end up with a bent pin. You must also first line up the hole with the paper clip before reinserting the pin. Good luck.

SOURCE: how to adjust metal wrist band on casio watch?

  1. Pop out one spring pin to disconnect the band from the watch or from itself at the clasp. If you don't have a special tool for this, a needle or a pin will probably work. A straightened paper clip may be too thick, but they are cheap so you could try it. Now the watch and band can sit flat on the work table.
  2. Examine the links. If some of them have little arrows on them (usually the ones closest to both sides of the clasp), they are removable.
  3. These removable links are held together by a "U" shaped (actually a squared off "U" - sort of like this |_| ) pin that is inserted into the link. There may should be some kind of window-like opening in the link into which you can insert a narrow screwdriver or similar tool or even a small nail (around 6-penny size) and push out the |_| shaped pin. A straightened paper clip is probably not sturdy enough, but you could try it. Push in the direction of the arrow (from tail to point). The links that were joined by the |_| pin can now be separated.
  4. Remove a second such pin from another adjacent link. Now a single link is free and can be discarded (or kept). Reconnect the remaining adjustable links with one of the |_| pins and re-attach the spring pin from step 1 so the band is reunited with itself or with the watch.
  5. Try it on. If it is still too long, repeat the process. Good luck.

mcdevito75 here, Without seeing the watch NO. Best Bet, visit a small watch repair shop in your area and see about band adjustment, Most likely your missing something on the band you have to use to adjust for your wrist size.

How do I replace the rubber watch band?

Get the screwdriver and start to unscrew all the screws relating to band and rubber casing. Then undo springbars. Then unscrew caseback screws, take out the rubber gasket, unscrew the battery contact screws and take out the battery. Buy exactly the same one and replace it, then do all the operations in the same way other way round. Rate me, please.

Removing the back to change battery

The plastic wrist band doesn't have to be cut away. You need to dislodge the spring-loaded end of the pin from the hole in the plastic with the blade of a sharp thin knife.

The you proceed to lift one of the 4 snaps to open the cover. The battery is under a white translucent inside cover.

The original battery was Sony SR621SW.

Pay attention to the rubber seal ring when putting the watch back together.
