SOURCE: change language of my o2 comet from german to english
Hi
i have the same problem. Have you the solution?
Regards
SOURCE: change language to English
This might be a problem.. Windows controls the actual display language (thats the dialog boxes, the windows and all the screen messages you see).
If you have a german copy of windows it might be just german. That means you might NOT be able to change the display language to english.
IF you have what's called windows MUI you might be able to change the display language.
Ask the guy or company you bought it from if they have windows CD's. You're likely going to need them. See if by any remote chance you DO have Windows XP MUI (stands for multi user interface)
It's unlikely you do, but at least ask.
There are options to change the language but it's usually not for the display it's for spelling or how dates and the like appear.

If its same as the Faxjet 555, try looking on the Sagem Communications site, under support. I noted the lable under the machine does not say Philips, but Sagem, and have, I hope downloaded the english instructions.

If you are talking about one of the Casio QT6xxx's then you need to.
I . All peripheral devices and terminals of this cluster should be turned off.
2. Connect all of the peripheral devices (such as printer, display etc.) to terminal.
*In case of wire inline:
3. Connect all terminals by inline.
*In case of wireless inline: QT 6000 or QT6600 models
3. Connect Wireless LAN card.
Operation:
4. Turn on all peripheral devices of a terminal.
5. Turn on this terminal while pressing and holding the initialize switch and then release.
6. Next the screen will say push the INIT (initialize) switch to start IPL.
After releasing the key
The IPL will take a few minutes to copy over.
When it is done, Pick the Language you need. enter"20000" (U.S.)," l0000" (other area:English)," 40000"
(other area:German)," 50000" (other area: French)," 60000" (other area: Spanish) and
press the <OK> key.
I will be making a video of this procedure this week, so visit us @ www.casiohelp.com to view it.
