Check to see if the drain at the bottom of your freezer is plugged. When the refrigerator goes on defrost, the water has to go somewhere. Look below the coils in the freezer section and see if there is ice in the drain.

SOURCE: GE frig just starting leaking water at the bottom of the freezer side door

The water on the floor below the freezer door is due to an inadequate door seal. The door is not closing completely, either a foreign object at the bottom, or more likely, the freezer door gasket needs replacing.

SOURCE: Freezer door is leaking water at the bottom of the door

This sounds like the defrost drain on the freezer side is stopped up causing the drain to freeze over then eventually running out on the floor during the defrost cycle.

If you can see ice on the bottom of the freezer floor, then this is likely your problem unless your ice maker is leaking from the top of the freezer.

Locate the drain at the back of the freezer and thaw it out using hot water. Using a screw driver or other object gently push down into the defrost hole and dislodge whatever is stuck there.

An air hose with good air pressure may also work well. When the drain line is clear you should be able to pour water through it freely.

Samsung RSG257AARS, freezer is not cooling things. What can the problem be?

Have you checked that the door is closing ok and that the door seals are meeting the door frame all round?
It might be that the coolant gas has slowly leaked out. A good indication this has happened is that the bottom of the freezer is a lot warmer than the top. To repair an engineer will first cut the coolant pipe and drain the existing gas and then recharge, re-pressurise and seal.

There is water leaking in the freezer. I imagine it is the ice maker. There is an "ice puddle" on the bottom level and occasionally water seeps out onto the kitchen floor. Is this easy to fix for a...

my model is not exactly the same but check for this this anyway:
Take a flash light & check for ice in the back vent underneath the very bottom shelf in the freezer. If you see ice in there, completely defrost until the ice is gone & the plastic drip hole is unobstructed. The leak on mine was happening because that hole had frozen over & caused excess water to flow into the bottom of the freezer & out the bottom of the door instead of through that hole.

Icemaker won't fill tray,

Was the inlet tube frozen. If so your water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in is probably leaking and when the water reaches the freezer it freezes, blocking the inlet tube. Replace the water inlet valve.
You can Try swapping the wires on the dual water inlet valve. Then try the water dispenser. The water should go to the ice maker. This will tell you weather or not the ice maker valve is working and if the line is clear.

GE Side by Side Refrigerator seeping water onto door

Hey, thanks for the photos. Have seen this problem before. Seal the recess area, at the front edge and the front corners, with a little clear silicone, to prevent water from getting behind the stainless steel door panel. I've heard people say to seal the rectangular holes along the bottom side of the door panel recess cut out also, but that shouldn't be necessary, as if you still had water behind the panel, it would just then seep down behind the SS door panel and continue to cause problems. The real cure is to keep water from getting in there in the first place.

Water seeping around fitting on back where water line fastens tp

Where does the water seep from?

The compression fitting you speak of is for the ice maker and through door water (if you have it.).

If water is on the floor, then chances are the drain pan underneath the unit has a hole in it, or for some reason, the water is not getting to the pan.

If water accumulates inside the freezer, check that the tube leading to the pan on the bottom of the refer is not clogged in some way.

If the water is in the refrigerator side, there may be a hole in the tank for the through the door water dispenser. It would leak everytime the icemaker dropped ice and refilled.
