Most likely, you will have to contact the service center. But you can also try to repair the dishwasher yourself, just follow this step-by-step instruction - https://washingcodes.com/kenmore-dishwasher-troubleshooting/

I'd guess that the clock timer motor has a lubrication issue and is slowing down. A new one may be only to fix.
Try Appliancepartspro, or other online appliance parts sites.
Usually, they are quite helpful.

SOURCE: Noisy dishwasher

This is a known issue for GE dishwashers and may be similar for other models too.  The fix is simple.  The noise is due to vibration of the arm for the middle sprayer.  Just secure it with a tie wrap or wire and the noise should be gone.

Refer to the following link for my earlier response to a similar issue which fixed the problem.

SOURCE: Dishwasher leaves soap in dispenser.

Hi Dirty Dish gang.
After having 2 appliance repairmen here, I now have the latest scoop on our dishwasher problems, $200 later!
Los Angeles IS currently having hard water issues. Also, all the new cleaning gels etc. are actually a cause of our dishwasher problems.
So, here is what we need to do:
1. Use Cascade POWDER detergent only.  Make sure is is just "plain" no "scented" or "complete"  or gel, etc. (I have tried a phosphate free powder and gel and this is a cause of our problem as well!) 2. Use Jet Dry in the dispenser (set it to a 2-3 opening) 3. Make sure water is at least 120 degrees 4. Only run dishwasher on "normal" setting.  All others just run it longer, hence causing more water stains. 5. Do not pre-wash dishes! You can knock of chunks with a "non" soapy brush, but don't rinse (the oils actually help to clean the dishes) 6.  Do not wash sponges in dishwasher.
Acid Wash: The repairman just gave my washer an Acid Wash today. It says it is an acid derived from lemon, I got mine from Carters appliance in Torrance, CA for about $19. I am to run a normal cycle with the above mentioned Cascade after this "acid cycle" is finished.
If you are still having problems:
Monthly maintenance: Glass Magic: Buy a box of Glass Magic (near the Cascade)  Use 1 Tbsb in main detergent compartment of dishwasher along with the Cascade, till washer starts working again. White Vinegar: You can run an empty dishwasher with white vinegar once a month.  Fill a bowl with 2 cups vinegar and place on bottom rack.  Then run as a normal cycle...this allows vinegar to disperse slowly.
So far it seems to be working.  Good luck.

SOURCE: Bsoch dishwasher runs long and displays 1 minute left on timer

sounds like a bad solder connection on the heater relay of your control unit. more than likely you will need a new control unit. part number 266746

SOURCE: Dishwasher pump keeps running

This is caused by a water leak into the base pan,it will trigger the anti flood and the machine will continously drain out even with the door open, you need to establish what is leaking,if you leave the appliance standing for a few days it will start again as the water will evaporate however if the fault returns you will definetly have aleak on the appliance which will require further investigation.

How can I fix kenmore elite dishwasher model #665? It's making a loud noise during wash cycle. Thank you.

Without hearing the noise I would guess the bearings in the wash pump are going bad. This an issue that happens from time to time especially if the dishwasher sits idle for longer periods of time and something that does need attention as it could start leaking water and do floor damage.

Hi, I have a kenmore 665.15522 that came with the house we bought 6.5 yrs ago. It started finishing the cycle (any cycle) and leaving some water behind. I checked the line connecting to the food disposal...

Sometimes the IMPELLOR within the drain pump wears out and no longer functions as it did when new. Its no longer tight inside and thus pulls out less water than it did some time ago. Thus water is left behind.

I found similar Kenmore dishwashers on Consumer Reports with around 135 to 145 minutes for a normal wash cycle and around 5 to 6 gallons per wash. A quick wash would take somewhat less, depending on the model. But not much less. I think you are OK. Because dishwashers are using less water these days, they count on longer wash times to produce the same effect.

Purchased 2007, Kenmore UltraWash d.w. makes loud buzzing noise that stats about a minute after 'start' and continues most of the time throughout cycle. Think it's the pump? Can't easily get it to be...

Please provide model number of the kenmore dishwasher.

Is there water in the base when the wash is complete? There could be couple of pumps in some Kenmore dishwashers - so hard to know which one until model number is known.

Kenmore disher skips wash cycles.

HI, this is the result of a faulty timer control module. replacing this damaged device will restore the normal functions of this unit.

NEFF S5456 DISHWASHER

Have you tried it on a different program? I have nearly always used the AUTO program - however i have used the 50 degree program 3 times now and it completes the (much longer) wash without sticking on one minute. Will try it on auto again to see what happens. I found it useful to turn the end-of-wash buzzer on (to loud) to remind me when (if) it completes the program.
