Hi, i think it is faulty since you have tried it with another handheld and it still does not receive but before we conclude on that i would prefer you contact Garmin technical support Phone number: 1-800-800-1020 or 913-397-8200 to make a complain and see if it can be fixed....

I had same problem with an Innotek Bark collar. However after my dog s barking caused shocks the first times he wore it and quickly he changed that behavior. It finally and quickly got to the point that I still used it on him but I never had batteries in it as just wearing the collar was enough to stop his annoying the neighbors. These collars do not have a long lifespan like most electronic goods.

I have AGPTEK DC2/DC4 shock collar that has recently started going thru batteries on collar receiver every other day. Duracell batteries. Even on 2nd collar receiver. Why?

You should not be using cruel, barbaric methods such as this to train your dog under any circumstances. Shame on you !

How do i change the battery on the dogtra element 1/2 mile training collar for dogs

As one might expect there are many models to choose from and you didn't specify the one you are asking about. Generally, these collars contain a rechargeable battery. The charger often has two leads so that the receiver and transmitter can be charged at the same time. Some of these units have exposed screws that when removed reveal the rechargeable battery. However, the manufacturer suggests returning the unit to them for battery replacement.

Shock Collar Won't Work

Please don't use this device. I used to use these on my poor dogs for training..then I received a shock from the collar myself and it hurt like hell! (I also had undergone a test that used electric current to "test" my muscle reflex..boy, did that hurt..had to make them stop the test and asked "how could you do this to someone..it's like a form of torture!! Dawned on me that that's exactly what I was doing to my poor dogs!!)So, please have a little compassion..there are other ways to train your dog. Like positive reinforcement!

If these are replaceable than you would you have to look it up by the brand of shocks.

Ex. Rockshocks Duke 1995. The replacement parts are specific to the make/ model and year. All the shock companies have a customer service messaging service so they can you give you advice on your particular shock.

How do I enter a 4500 radio code in a ford fiesta

Ford Code Entry Instructions

Once the unit has been turned on the display will show
CODE - - - -'

Press preset [ 1 ] repeatedly for the first digit
Press preset [ 2 ] repeatedly for the second digit
Press preset [ 3 ] repeatedly for the third digit
Press preset [ 4 ] repeatedly for the third digit

To save the code press the [ 5 ] key to accept.

The set should now operate.
