Hi everyone i have a big hisense tv i think its a 47 or a 55 inch, when i go to turn it on all the side buttons and everything light up and if im lucky sometimes itll work and when it does can work for a week or up to a month as long as i dont turn it off. Anyway eventualy itll turn itself and wont turn back on for ages any ideas what this could be? Ive been scratching my head for montha

It could be caused by a malfunctioning component, such as a blown fuse or failed capacitor, or it could be an indication that the TV is overheating. In some cases, a blinking red light can also indicate that the TV's firmware is not up to date and needs to be updated
Unplug the TV's power cord and hold the power button directly on the tv ,keep holding it for 20 secs or so then let the tv sit unplugged for a couple of minutes before you try it again.

Remove the all the screws from the bottom side of the case. Lift the top of the case up just a few inches. Directly under the mouse pad, there is a little ribbon about a 1/4 inch wide. Pull it from the mother board. It may be easier to remove the keyboard to access this ribbon.
