I have an Electrolux dryer model number EDC2086GLW and I can't get it to restart after stopping it 3 minutes short of a cycle. The display read "3" with the lock/lightbulb symbol(looks like a keyhole)

I tried turning it off and unplugging it. I tried the start/pause button. Nothing works. How do I reset it?

6.1 Child lock function
This option prevents children to play with the appliance while a programme operates. The programme knob and the touchpads are locked. Only the on/off button is unlocked.

Activating the child lock option
1. Press the on/off button to activate the
appliance.
2. Press and hold touchpads (A) and (D) at the same time until the child lock indicator comes on.
• It is possible to deactivate the child lock option while a programme operates. Press and hold the same touchpads until the child lock indicator goes off.

SOURCE: Help! I have a whirlpool frt load dryer it is locked (controls)

You need to press and hold the "End of Cycle Signal" button on this model to lock or unlock the control panel. The instructions should be printed directly below the button.

What does error EHO in electrolux EDC2086GLW drayer with condensor refers to

The EH0 error indicates a problem with the incoming voltage or the power supply or wiring inside the dryer. If there has been a problem with the electricity coming into your home (brown out or similar), the error will resolve when the power company fixes the issue. Otherwise the control board is not receiving the expected power from the power supply.

First unplug the dryer or shut off the power at the circuit breaker. Unplugging the dryer for at least 30 seconds will reset the error message. If you can, plug another appliance into the outlet and check if that works. If there is a wiring fault, get an electrician to check the outlet and wiring.

If the problem is inside the dryer, the power supply, the control board and the wiring to the control board will need to be checked. There could be a loose wire, a broken wire or a spot where the insulation has been damaged and two wires are touching. Check all of the wiring harnesses where groups of wires plug into the control board. Replace or fix any damaged parts or wires. The parts diagrams are available here: https://www.ransomspares.co.uk/parts/brands/electrolux/tumble-dryers/edc2086glw%20(91609724100)/ . If the dryer is under warranty, contact Electrolux to have the unit serviced.

I hope this helps.

I have Samsung gas dryer model DV410. no heat, replaced two thermal fuse and hi low limit. Now it only works with timed cycle mode. the rest mode, it runs only for least the 5 minutes and shut off.

timed cycle mean dryer not on sensor dry mode. check wire connection on moisture sensor bars (i think you forget to put 2 wire connector put together). when you use other cycle dryer use moisture sensor to dry cloths so sensor not working dryer will stop in 5 minutes or so because dryer think there are no wet cloths to dry. hope this help you.

We have a new Frigidaire FASG7074NR2. It stopped at the beginning of the cycle and read door open. The door was not open. We tried opening and firmly closing the door and unplugging but it still reads door...

Short answer - $5 door switch. I've dealt with this at least 3 times in the last 5 years on Frigidaire, Electrolux & Whirlpool dryers. I certainly hope it's the right fix action for you as well. Cheers.

Countdown timer not working

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand that the timer on your Electrolux dryer, model#EIMED55IIW, is not advancing to show you how much time is left on the dry cycle. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your homes circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and restart your dryer. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your dryer status has changed successfully.

-Best Regards-

Electrolux

Hello Curtis - Typically, error code E61 indicates a Heater Relay failure. At first the heater was grounded, and now possibly the heater relay. When the heater grounded it could have shorted the relay as well. Generally it is a good idea to have a professional take a look at it to get to the root cause. Cost of parts and technical expertise entailed in these types of replacements can be a bit tricky.

Electrolux EDC77550 drum dryer starts normally but stop after running couple of minutes.

If motor runs continuously with power applied, check for short circuit across motor relay (RL2), or L1 applied to motor relay output (J3-1) with cycle stopped. If motor does not start when Start key is pressed, check for open circuit between L1 and motor relay connection (J3-2). If no wiring problems found, replace Main Control Board.

Power went out and dryer is blinking "pf" and no buttons work

It blinks "PF" to indicate that the cycle is interrupted due to a power failure. Press Start to continue the cycle or press Stop/Cancel to clear the display then restart the cycle.

Unplug the dryer for at least 30 minutes to forcibly reset the control if the display does not clear out or if the dryer cannot be restarted. Indicate the complete and exact model number of the dryer for further and specific troubleshooting repair advice.
