SOURCE: New Remington MS 280. Unable to charge after the first few shaves
Check the powerr lead in the first instance. If there's no power from the lead it may need to be replaced.
Otherwise there could be a problem with either the control board or the batteries. It's only a recent model so I'm leaning towards the lead.

The DA307 shaver is NOT washable. Exposure to water will damage shaver and possible expose you to electrical shock. Simply brush the cutter blade and shaver head area with the brush that came with the shaver. If you need a brush, you can find them at shaveroutlet.com. See link below

SOURCE: My remington shaver is recharable
It is possible that the battery within is faulty. Normally the unit carrries a one year warrranty and before you can open if this matter is brought up with Remington service support, we can try for the warrantty replacement.
Normally most of these battery operated unit stay in shelf life and the batteries develop reverse voltage in a period of time by aging. So when are used after such time the quality required is not seen with such results.
If there is not help then you can open and change the battery with regular type or get them from Remington.
