SOURCE: Brand new watch won't work

Check your users manual if your watch have two batteries. If yes, you need to replace digital part battery.
If your watch has only one battery, your digital screen or plate is defective. Bring it back to the retailer and ask to replace for the decently working watch.
But first of all try to fiddle with all pushbattons- sometimes it helps.

SOURCE: Sweep 2nd hand operation & watch time setting on my Pulsar watch.

The larger second hand on the Pulsar PF8036 is part of the stopwatch feature. The upper button starts/stops the stopwatch feature, and the lower button operates the lap/reset function. Why they made the larger hand work only with the stopwatch instead of the smaller hand to the left is beyond me, but that's how it is designed.

Abacus AU8001

To synchronize the hands of your ( Fossil ) Abacus au8001 atomic watch do the following:
Before Starting the procedure, remove the spring pin from the watchband buckle holes used to slightly adjust the size of the band ( the side with the set of two holes ) so that the band will lie flat on either side of the watch exposing the back of the watch. Use a small pin to push down on either side of the spring pin.
1 ) Remove the back of the watch. You need to unscrew the 6 small stainless steel screws using a small jewelers Phillips screwdriver. Then using a needle pointed pair of tweezers, remove the screws and place them in a small container so they don't get lost. They are so small that if you drop them you may never find them, then remove the back of the watch using the tweezers as well.
2) On the bottom of the stainless steel plate covering the Watch movement there is a small hole marked reset just to the left of the hole. At the bottom of the hole is a small stainless steel screw. Take a very small screwdriver or a straightened steel paper clip and insert it into the hole so it touches both the head of the small screw and the side of the hole ( so there is an electrical connection between the screw and the stainless steel plate ). If you are successful the LED Display on the front of the watch will start flashing 00:00.
3) then while looking at the face of the watch, press and hold the upper right button ( the A button on the instructions) until the watch hands start to spin. Let them spin until they almost read 12:00. Then do a short press of the A button again and the hands will stop. Then do short presses of the A button which will move the hands a very short distance each time you press it until the hands show exactly 12:00. If you accidentally go past exactly 12:00 then start over by pressing and holding the A button until the hands start to spin. The hands must show exactly 12:00 before taking the next step or they will not be synchronized with the digital time.
4) when the hands show exactly 12:00 press the bottom right button ( the C button on the instructions).
5) the watch will enter the setting mode showing the default time zone of EU. Press the A button to switch to your Time Zone. Each press of the button will change to the next time zone. When it appears press the C button to confirm
6) the Daylight Savings mode of Auto will appear next. You can either switch it off entirely or turn it on by using the A button. Then press the C button again.
6) you are now in the time setting mode. The number on the left which is flashing is the hours. Using the A code button change it to your current hours time. Then press the C button and the minutes numbers ( on the right will flash ) using an internet time source change the the minutes using the A button. Press the C button to enter The number will change to the seconds. Using your internet source press the C button when the internet seconds show 00..
7) The display will now show the year stating in 2005. Press the A button repeatedly until the current year is shown. Then press the C button to enter.
8) you will then be in the month mode with the number on the left flashing. Using the A button change the number to the current month and press the C button.
9) You will now be in the date mode. Using the A button, change the number to the current date and press the C button.
10) The watch will now adjust the hands to correspond to the digital time you just entered.
11) Replace the back of the watch. Place the screws in the holes using the needle nose tweezers . Do this on a tray so if you drop a screw it won’t get lost. Screw them in so they are snug but don’t tighten too much or you risk cracking the plastic back.
12) You can re enter the time setting mode by pressing and holding the C button for over 3 seconds.
13) You can put the watch into a manual atomic time receiving mode by pressing and holding the A button for over 3 seconds
Connect the watchband side you removed from the buckle by replacing the spring pin.

Watch Manual for Sergio Valente model# F-IAGAG

These are operating instructions for an SV F-IAGAG (Sergio Valente) watch.

There are four buttons on the watch.

    A: upper left
    B: lower left
    C: upper right
    D: lower right

Pressing A turns on the watch face backlight.

    Pressing B changes the mode.

From the normal time display mode, one press of B enters the stopwatch mode. In this mode, pressing C will start the stopwatch time count. Pressing C again will stop the count. Each additional press of C will start/stop the count. While the count is proceeding, pressing D will freeze the display of stopwatch time, yet the count will continue. Pressing D again will cause the display to begin updating with the running count. Each press of D will freeze/unfreeze the display update. When the count is stopped (with a press of C), pressing D will reset the count to zero. From this mode, press B again to return to time display mode.

From the normal time display mode, two presses of B enters the alarm time set mode. In this mode, either the hour or minute portion of the time display will be flashing. That which is flashing can be changed by pressing C. Pressing D will switch to the other portion (hours or minutes). Any time the alarm mode is entered and a change is made, the alarm is set to "on". This is indicated by a check mark in the circle display next to the "9" on the watch face. The alarm can be toggled "on" and "off" from the normal time display mode by holding down button D and pressing button C. Return to the normal time display mode by pressing button B while in the alarm time set mode.

From the normal time display mode, three presses of B enters the time set mode. Upon first entering this mode, the seconds display in the circle near the watch face "3" will be flashing. Pressing button C will reset the seconds to zero. Each press of the D button will advance to a different value field for adjustment. The field of adjustment will be flashing. The sequence of fields is (seconds - minutes - hours - date day - date month - date day). Pressing C will change the value. When adjusting the hours, both 24hr format, and 12hr AM/PM format is available. Each press of button C will advance the hour value. The sequence of 24hr format will be indicated with an "H" in the "seconds" circle (near the watch face "3"). After hour value 24 of the 24hr format, the next hour is a "12" value, with an "A" in the seconds circle. Twelve presses of button C will step through the AM hour values and present an "12" value with a "P" in the seconds circle. Twelve more presses advances through the PM hour values and returns to the 24hr format. Pressing button B will return to time display mode.

Pressing button C while holding down button D will toggle the alarm "on/off" state. The "on" state is indicated with a check mark in the display circle next to the "9" on the watch face.

How do I set my pod 535 watch after I have changed the batteries

Just tried this procedure to replace a watch battery in a POD 535 and did not work...my version of the watch might be different, all I am saying is it did not work with my watch.
The procedure that worked with my watch
When you have replaced the battery reset the watch by placing a small screw driver across the two recessed contact next to the lower battery clip. The digital display will reset and you will see four zero's flashing...if not press the winder button once, or reset the watch again. This process is to get all the hands at twelve O clock position...press and hold the top right hand button and the hands will start revolving...you can let go of the button once the hand are moving. Pressing the top button again will stop the hands and a short press will move the hands in small increments. Once the hands get close to 12 press then press the button once and then press the same button in short pulses to align all the hands on the 12 position. Wait a short time and the watch will find the time signal and both the digital display and hands will be aligned and showing the correct time.

How to set the wr330 watch lost instructions.

On the face of the watch, there are four buttons arranged around the circle of the watch face in four positions. Starting with the upper left hand button (labelled SET), and working clockwise around the face of the watch (to ADJ., EL, and MODE), I'll label the buttons "A", "B", "C", and "D".

    In other words...
Button "A" is the button labelled "SET" in the upper left hand corner of the watch.
Button "B" is the button labelled "ADJ." in the upper right hand corner of the watch.
Button "C" is the button labelled EL in the lower right hand corner of the watch.
Button "D" is the button labelled "MODE" in the lower left hand corner of the watch.

    Setting the Time.
    1. Press and hold D as if you were setting the alarm. As above, the stopwatch will momentarily appear and then after 2 seconds the alarm time will appear with the hour flashing.
    2. Press and release D and the seconds on the time of day will begin to flash.
    3. Press and release B to reset the seconds to zero provided they are below 30. If they are above 30, the seconds will reset and the minutes of the time of day will advance by one.
    4. Press and release A to change from flashing seconds to flashing minutes/flashing hours/flashing day of the month/flashing month of the year/flashing day of the week. In each flashing mode, pressing and releasing B advances the value by one unit.
    5. Press and release D to exit time setting mode.
