SOURCE: Ice in Refrigerator Section

there are 2 possibilities. first the drain is blocked causing water to overflow from the defrost water gulley at the bottom rear of the inside of the fridge. this can form ice as it is close to the division between fridge and freezer. second, the .fault of ice growth can be caused by breakdown of the cabinet insulation. of the two, the first is the moree likely. to test drain is cloear, pour a little water down the drain. if it does'nt flow freely, push something flexible down the drain hole till blockage is clear

SOURCE: ice in the bottom of frigidaire side by side frost proof freezer

take all the bottom shelves and baskets out of the freezer. look at the back wall of the freezer. youll see a block of ice in a metal pan looking part at the bottom of the rear panel. there is a hole in the bottom of that pan. thats the defrost drain. its clogged. use a hair dryer to get all the ice out then use hot water to flush out the drain hole.

SOURCE: the refrigerators accumulate ice

the fridge distrubutes cold by air movement. A overstuffed fridge can have trouble. There is a fan that blows a controlled amount of freezer air over to the food side, altho when this goes you usually have frozen freezer and food too warm. Make sure the air is allowed to move.

Ice accumulating under bottom freezer drawer

You have a frozen drain tube. Remove the back cover aftr unplugging the unit. Locate the drain tube running down to the drip pan. If it is frozen, thew it with a hair dryer. In the inside, find the drain hole and pour hot water in it until it drains properly. I f it happens again your defrost element is too far away from the aluminum drain pan and needs to be GENTLY lowered closer to the drain.
