SOURCE: Image on 'normal' setting isn't using full height of tv screen.

What you will need to do is grab your remote that came with the tv - click "Menu">select "Settings">go down to "Screen" and make sure that:

1. Wide Mode reads "Full"
2. Auto Wide reads "On"
3. Display Area reads "Full Pixel"

Hope that helps.

Ink full printing blank

you are not specifying your printer. If it is a deskjet, the container which is actually the printer head, is defective or obstructed. Take it to a refill site where they have an ultrasound cleaner. If it wion't reactivte after or prints for a short time and then goes blank again, it is defective and you should get a new one.

No image printing.white paper out.

Could also be the cable that runs to the head from the main board. One controls the signal and one the power to the elements. If either is disconnected the printer will still think its printing ok. Also there are some components on the print head if they fail you will need to repalce the head.

I am doctor who specializes in ultrasound. My problem is that the current DVD recording system we are useing to record our ultrasound studies have imperfect resolution. Can you recommend one that will...

I am sorry to ask you another question, but in order to give you the appropriate answer, I have to know your exact needs.

You want to record the images and cine loops and currently use a video/frame grabber to capture these signals into a computer.
If you are a specialized Ultrasound doctor, why don't you use the DICOM standard for storage and archiving? There are great free software packages out there you can use for this! It will give you the best medical solution for this purpose and if you need after exam measurements etc, all the image display information (pixel info etc.) is already available in the DICOM information. Any DVD recording will give you a limitation in these functionalities.

If you want to proceed with DVD recordings, please be aware that the average Ultrasound pixel resolution is 512 x 512. Besides this, Ultrasound is always noisy and kind of "blocky"..The DVD will never increase this quality and can only downgrade it if incorrectly setup.

If you need more help or information about DICOM use, please let me know and no, I will be obliged to provide you with more information about this great standard.

I have a twin pact 100 connected via RGB to mobile ultrasound unit.

Please check the videosettings on the ultrasound scanner.
(Videosettings)
Maybe this is for your purposes not correctly setup.
Think of : video interlacing, Frame/Filed, NTSC/PAL.

Ofcourse the same thing counts for the Twin Pact !

Question: what type is the Ultrasound Unit ?
Brand/Model ?
