Run it backwards. Or you could put soapy water on the cardboard and paper to soften and lubricate it. Spray the cutters with WD40 afterwards.

There is an infeed sensor that isn't being made for auto on which is just a simple flipper switch and if it doesn't work it is because there is paper jamming it. Unplug it and turn it over where the blades are and see if clogged up and if so than put back on and reverse it and than forward again until it releases if it has a reverse ,reverse it. If no reverse unplug and use a narrow object to clear from the bottom side

check for a scrap of paper jamming the small lever to the forward micro switch

the machine still thinks it is jammed. the humming is probably the motor trying to turn, it can not beause it still has a jam? . you may need to remove the power cord from the wall. remove the shredder fro the stand. flip it over. remove the bottom cover and manual trun the cutting heads to unstick them. you may need a tech
