this problem indicate two type of problems
1=when cassette mechanism stuck then display appear Eject and set turn off
2 if the out put short then set like this behavior please check if the mech error then service the mechanism and change belts otherwise replace amp ics one by one

I have a Denon AVR1708 and a Denon AVR687. Both had this issue and the issue is related to high temperature usage; like if the unit is in an entertainment systems with poor ventilation. I was able to fix both fairly easily. The issue is related to the voltage regulators on the power supply board on the 1708 and the main board on the 687. In my case, I had failures of the -15 volt regulator KIA7915PI. Both I believe were related to high temperatures.
You can get the regulator for as little as 50 cents at some online stores. The job on the 1708 was easy, however, on the 687 it was a bear. It took about 1/2 hour on the 1708 and 2 to 2 1/2 hours on the 687. The component is a lot harder to get to on the 687. The component needs to be unsoldered and removed and the new component soldered in. You will probably have to remove some caps to get go access. Thermal grease should also be applied to the new component.
Hi, this is an issue with a sensor on the power module. To fix it you must replace that part.
