It depends on if its over voltage or undervoltage. I would check the governor linkage and throttle settings while using a volt meter and a 100W incandescent bulb.

SOURCE: 196cc /6.5hp Honda clone generator engine burns oil.Can this be fixed by replacement of top compression ring?

Any engine that burns oil should be given a compression check and then have the compression rings replaced if they leak.

My Honda eu2000i shuts down after 30 seconds and have to restart 4 times before it will continue to run normally, does it mostly in the cold Canada winters

it is not any kind of car or truck,so moved you to portable elect gas generators.
does it burn gas/petrol or LPG?
with engine stalled, oil lamp on is 100% normal
but never at the time of stall (or just before)
the oil pump runs off the crankshaft is why.
new spark plug is cure. i bet.
or use chock longer.
carb, gasoline , petrol.
if spark tip is in raw fuel , turn off chock and crank it dry.
the gen has many buttons switches make sure all are set correct for sure on./off .
is it elect starter or hand cord cranked or both?

Honda gx160 petrol generator, gets very hot on the muffler, then starts to backfire and flames come out of the exhaust on the muffler

You need to get the exhaust away from the generator (heat shield) because it is getting to hot and this will cause it to backfire

Honda injectors

No, You can't. The temperature and pressure generated by the cylinder in diesel engine is different from that of petrol engine.

I cant get any petrol to pump into the mantles

If the petrol doesn't come through first check that you have enough in the tank. If the tank is not full enough it won't come through. If it still fails to come through it's likely that the generator is blocked. This is the tube which the mantle sits on and it has a very narrow opening to force the petrol to convert to vapour when it's warm. Try heating it for a while and it may clear it. Otherwise you'll need to buy a new generator.

Note: while the dual fuel lanterns can burn petrol you should be aware that it gives off poisonous fumes, like cars did before they had catalytic converters. The lantern should not be used indoors with petrol. They are safe with coleman fuel. If you live in the USA, Coleman fuel is cheap but if you're in Europe it's much too expensive. Rather than buying a new generator, if you live in Europe, you could buy a parafin burning lantern like the Petromax 500 available from http://www.pelam.de/index.php?cPath=28_31&language=en&gclid=CIOe46DQnqYCFQkf4QodQxz2Zg
and other sites, or you can pick up second hand Optimus lanterns on Ebay. Both burn parafin, though they need to be primed, and provide at least as much light as the Coleman.

I've code p430 and p1000 and it said something about air gas controller

Catalitic converter mailfunction. Possible causes: - catalitic conv. mailfunction - o2 sensor mailfunction (ECU generates p430 from converter pre and post sensors data) - misfire; bad quality petrol, bad spark plugs, bad ignition coils (misfire means cat conv able to burn out without quick repair) - low fuel pressure: petrol filter needs replace, fuel pump needs replace - hole in exhaust system (sensors are ok, but measure wrong flow)

Fuel not getting through the carburator

Take off the fuel filler cap. On some this is the fuel tank vent.

If the vent is blocked the petrol flow will be suspended by the vacuum.
