are you running windows 7?
the above magic long power reset is the top reason for dead PC.
but yours is not dead , it has windows BSODs
the windows blue screens of *****.
if running W10 there are 100 different BSOD screens now
Microsoft went a bit wild , did you upgrade to W10? yes./no?
the blue screen is not really just blue is it
it has lots of white text here, with real error codes.
in a shop we read those first and look them up.
if you forgot what OS you run that makes repairs hard.
Your PC is 8 years old so is not XP or Vista.
w7./8 or w10 ,it is.
and w10 is very different , what we do is go to safe mode first.
and is tricky doing this. unlike w7.
also run your PC with no big battery on the AC pack only.
if it runs perfectly now, that battery is bad. (shorted)

Try a weird fix that some people have experienced success with. Remove the battery pack, then hold the power on button down for 10-20 seconds (any extended period of time will not harm your laptop, this appears to only discharge voltage from the system) Reinstall the battery and then turn the laptop back on by holding the power button down for 10-20 seconds. May take 3-4 attempts to get it to boot up. There may be a problem with recently installed programs, the HDD may be faulty or an update hasn't been applied properly due to a compatibility issue. Hopefully the battery removal method will work for you.

SOURCE: Lenovo G555 overheat
OverheatingWhen the CPU overheats then it will shut down (i.e. thermaloverload) and won't boot up again until it has cooled down. If this is theproblem is not fixed then the CPU will eventually fail.
A faulty fan causes the problem or the fan and heat sink assembly are cloggedwith dust.
Check the CPU fan to see if it spins freely, if not replace the fan.
If the fan and heat sink is clogged with dust the remove the dust and make surethe vents are clear and dust free. Use a small brush and can of compressed airto do this.
