The only info I can give you is if it tries to pass stool and nothing comes out, then that might be an indicator. Do not take it lightly though. If you see bloating of any kind this could be an obstruction which is life threatening. Some breeds are actually prone to getting constipation but usually the smaller breeds. When I raised GSP, I had to put one down as she ate half a Frisbee and the obstruction caused part of her intestines to die. I always kept dried apricots around. Give the dog no more than 3 and prunes work also. I wish you luck but observe the dog closely and your vet can also call something in to **** store.

SOURCE: Morning, I think my dog is constipated. What can I give her. It is Rottweiler weighing 45 kg

First, I'm not a vet.
* You should have the vet check. (blockage, infection, bloat, etc.)

*** Following for information only. ***
* Check if dog is really eating and holding in food.
* Look for yellow, white foamy spots on floor (bile)
* Check if they are trying to cough up something but only clear liquid or food is expelled.
* If any of these conditions exists then see the vet.
* Otherwise, check the diet and what foods are eaten.
* Note restricted foods; Onions, Grapes, Nuts, Chocolate, Garlic (though some say 1 clove a week is okay to control worms.)
* 100% organic pumpkin (no spices) is good for digestion, usually for controlling the 'runs' though it's okay a couple times a week to keep plumbing running smooth.
* check on line or with vet for recommended diet.
* Ask the vet for additional advice. (most don't charge to answer questions over phone.)

My 4.3 Yorkshire Terrier is constipated, How much Lactulose 3.3 can I give him?

Surprisingly, unsweetened, canned pumpkin will do wonders to help with a constipated dog. Use a small amount from a teaspoon at first then go to a larger amount a day later. Dogs love pumpkin so getting it to eat some shouldn't be an issue. Pumpkin is a good source of fiber for them and will not hurt them. Go sparingly at first so they dont end up with diahrea.

Input works, output does not.

Why do so many people assume we know what you are talking about? Please give as much detail as possible when asking questions. What is the equipment you are talking about, model numbers too, what are you trying to do and describe precisely the issue you are having.
The question above seems to warrant the answer " Diagnosis: You are constipated. Solution: Take a laxative."

Recently , i have been feeling VERY constipated . But , when i say VERY constipated i mean VERY constipated! Like BIG style! I don't have a lot of fibre in my diet so i'm not sure whether i need to go

consider this you have to go on a daily basis because the statistics show that people who don't are more prone to bowel cancers
you talk of needing more fibre in the diet but are not doing anything about it
it is also caused by the lack of water intake
so get to a doctor now to see what the problem is as it may not be a diet problem but a serious restriction of the bowel
get there now or what you fear may become a reality

Light in color and won't copy dark. It come out light purple

you may try
1) color ink cartridge--- no enough ink or the cartridge ink channel dryer and constipated, refill ink and put down the cartridge bottom surface to water a little for 1 hr, then set back. or change a new cartridge if not fixed go next
2) print head--- the ink channel dryer and constipated, take out print head clean it's ink channel using cleaner or steep in water (do not touch circuit pin area with water) 20 minutes or longer. then set back and test (you can do more times), still not fixed, your print head have to change.
