Possible temp sensor bad
SOURCE: garage door indicator light blinks 5 times
this probably means you have a bad photo eye if you happen to have to doors side by side may be picking up on other sides photo eye just switch sides from left to right, however if the lights are coming on but does not mean that photo eye is not bad it has a small circuit board inside of it...
SOURCE: HP 2600n error ''DOOR OPEN'', but the dor isn't open.
How did it occur - was it randomly or after performing the internal cleaning?
Firstly check the switch. It's located on the top left, below is a picture showing this:

Check that its operating correctly - it should click as you shut the door. If its stuck, pull it out.
If you had performed the cleaning process on the optics and dissasembled the cables, then have a look at this:

You may have bent one of the door switch pins that are stopping it from registering - ensure all pins on that connector (or any others) are not bent by going over them with a bright light.
SOURCE: Amana Dishwasher door will not open. Latch you grap is very loose
We have the same problem and I bought the latch locally for $26.00 now trying to figure out exactly how to get the door apart to replace.
SOURCE: lights on panel blinking. ice dispenser keeps opening and closing
there is the HV board on the back under a cover . 2 680uf capacitors @ 35v are likely domed instead of flat on the top and are likely hot. replacing these with an equal value will cure the problem. they are in parallel so 1000 and 470uf will cure it. mine was same model except white. local dealer said no warranty. did not call maytag but he indicated it might help. good luck
SOURCE: I have an Elite french door model 795.777 in which
On your refrig the control board on the back has relays that turn the interior lights off and on. since you stated the door switches are dry and not sticking i think the relay for the lights has gone bad. you can use sears.com to obtain a part number for the circuit board and replace it yourself. the board is replaced wire for wire and if you can use a screw driver you can replace it yourself..
Testimonial: "Thank you, sir. I am leery of these control boards and their short lives. Nonetheless, i made an investment in this machine and will buy a new one. "
LED Indications
The front panel Status LED provides an indication of
the set's operation and the possible cause of a malfunction.
If an abnormal condition is indicated, perform the
Self Diagnostics procedure.
Self Diagnostics
To activate, press the front panel <ACTIVITY> &<CH
??> buttons at the same time and hold for 5 seconds.
The STATUS LED will then flash denoting a two digit
code.
• The number of flashes indicates the value of the
MSD (tens digit) of the Error Code.
• The flashing then pauses for approximately 1/2
second.
• The LED then flashes indicating the value of the
(ones digit) of the Error Code.
• The Error Code is repeated a total of 5 times.
Example: If the Error Code is "23", the LED
will flash two times, pause, and then flash three
times.
Table 2-2: LED Indications
Error Codes, descriiptions and the most likely cause of
the error are listed in Table 2-3.
Note: The TV must be in "Shut Down." The LED
will probably be indicating an abnormal
condition. If the TV is switched Off, AC is
removed, or a System Reset is performed, the
code automatically resets to "12" No Error.
See the Error Code Log to retrieve a history of
errors.
Note: Use the front panel buttons, not the remote
control.
Note: If there is no response, the front panel may be
locked by a V-Chip setting. To unlock, press
and hold <ACTIVITY> on the front panel for
