no Laptop stated, at all, just Acer.
1000s of models. all very different.
NO OS stated, Windows, or Chrome or linux?
most times, like 99%?
lack of sound, is a bad driver, and 99% by folks upgrading there OS.
did you? do that?
The driver must match your sound chip and the OS you run.
if it is windows. click control panel, click system
bingo windows version stated there.
the PC has model name,

Provided the small plastic hinges are still in place just put the key back in position and gently press the key until the key clicks and locks onto the hinges.

Windows XP
Start -- all programs -- accessories -- system tools -- system restore -- and restore your system to a previous date when everything was working fine.
windows vista or 7
You can just type restore into the Start menu search box, and
you’ll immediately see System Restore at the top of the start menu.
Or you can type rstrui into the search box and hit enter.
