I have an integral Bosch Dishwasher E-Nr SMV40c10GB/35. The draining motor keeps on working. Even though the programme has finished.

The outflows are not blocked as when I manually fill with water it drains ok. I cannot turn the dishwasher on or reset.

It means there's water in the base which has activated the flood detection system.

SOURCE: Dishwasher will not fill with water

Bosch D/w Have a float switchin the base pan of the unit you can access by removing the toe kick, if there is water in this base pan it turns the drain pump on and will not do anything else. So until the water is removed either vacume it out , or let it evaporate or however the unit will only drain

SOURCE: My bosch dishwasher does not fill with water (although it drains)

most bosch have the inlet valve at the end of the fill pipe and it has an anti-flood device.
try turning off the water, take off the fill pipe then reconnect it and see if this works.
taking off the fill pipe resets the anti-flood device

SOURCE: broken dishwasher?

The dishwaser has a Anti-Flood device (a polystireene block) on the floor of the dishwaser that activates a micro switch if any small amount of water is on the floor of the washer for any reason. This switch automatically puts the washer on PUMP OUT mode and does flash the error mode and does not work. Find out what causes the water on the floor and that will be the reason for not working...

Hi - bosch integrated dish washer has just stopped draining - liquid in bottom - nothing happens even when I turn electric off....

Hey Karen, Water in the bottom of the dishwasher results from clogs in the filter or in the drain hose. Before you do any work on your dishwasher, make sure that it's switched off at the mains. If cleaning your filter hasn't resolved the issue, then the next thing that could be preventing your dishwasher from draining is a blocked drain hose. Is your dishwasher displaying an error code? If you see the E25 error code on a Bosch dishwasher, that means the filter is blocked or clogged, and water cannot drain out of the machine correctly. You can check all Bosch dishwasher codes here: https://www.justfixed.co.uk/bosch-dishwasher-error-codes/

Good luck!

Hi I have an Bosch SGs43c02gb/35 and it does not drain all of the water out when it has finished the cycle, I have cleaned the filters out which were relatively clean and run it with a dish washer cleaner...

Hello

It is quite common for a dishwasher to not drain because either the drain hose or the air gap (if the unit has one) is clogged up. Drain hose clogs commonly occur where the hose is attached to the main household drain line, or where the hose connects with the garbage disposer. Try removing the drain hose to unclog any debris. Don't forget to reattach the hose before you start your dishwasher again.

The pump assembly is comprised of a pump, wash impeller, and drain impeller. The pump ejects the water from the unit, the wash impeller pushes water through the spray arm, and the drain impeller directs the water towards the drain port. Examine your dishwasher's pump assembly. Clean out any debris that may be blocking it. Replace the pump assembly if any of its parts appear to be worn or defective.

It isn't very common, but sometimes a dishwasher's pump assembly is driven by a belt. If that belt becomes worn and defective, then it cannot properly run the pump that drains your dishwasher's tub. If your dishwasher uses a drive belt, examine it now. If it shows signs of wear, replace it.

A defective timer could interfere with a dishwasher's ability to drain properly. Test your dishwasher's timer mechanism. If it is faulty, replace it. Keep in mind that you can replace either the entire timer assembly or just the timer's motor.

The motor plays a key role in a dishwasher's ability to drain water. If your dishwasher's motor is not functioning properly, it will negatively affect the draining capability of your machine. Test your dishwasher's motor for continuity. If it fails the test, replace the motor.

In some models, a valve has to open in order for the water to drain out of the dishwasher. This valve is controlled by a solenoid, but it is the timer that decides when the valve should open. If your timer is working fine, check the drain valve and its solenoid. If need be, replace them.

I have a built-in Bosch dishwasher SHU 4302 UC. It no longer drains the water out at the end of all the cycles. I have tried everything mentioned in the booklet (make sure water is hot, use the jet-dry...

The problem is a solenoid on the bottom of the unit. It is a small black cylinder next to the pump. It operates the valve that changes to the drain cycle. You can probably order one from Bosch

Water left after finishing wash

I have a Bosch Dishwasher and the E-Nr is SGS4362EU/03. The machine is approximately 4 years old, in good condition and has been working very well. Suddenly, there is water remaining after it completes a 50 degrees C wash cycle. This is also evident with the pre wash cycle and the 65 degrees wash cycle.

I have checked and cleaned the filters. I have loosened the internal pump white cover (Torx T 20 screw) and checked for any physical blockage - none. I have also checked for any drainage hose kinks - none.

I have tried a series of empty washes and the machine drains the water during the wash cycles. The dishes are also have a dull colour and show show signs of not being properly rinsed during the wash cycle.

Please assist.

Brian

Shu5312uc bosch dishwasher

Since water doesn't drain out,it could be a clog in the drain line. Often the problem is at the point where the drain line attaches to the garbage disposer or household drain line. You should remove this line and clear it form any debris in the hose or the hose connection. Be sure to reattach the hose before starting the dishwasher again. Good luck!
