No PC stated connected to 113 (DLP ) projector, very nice.
5 years old , lamp life 5000hrs, min.
no cable stated, VGA? DVI what>?
how long is the cable 6feet (2m) or 100feet, we surely cant guess what you see there.
did you test the projector any other good PC.?
did you read the manual first for picking how to select inputs.
did you RTM on resolution limits and set the PC to that.
max on proj. is 1920 x 1200 (very good)
did you buy it new or used?
did it work ever, (used questions)
lock (i clicked search manual and found) 1 second
read PDF page 20 in your manual
it tells you to push the source button,
I guess you never read the manual?

I have been using this Acer projector but it suddenly locked. The display shows the acer logo, no signal and a lock. I can not unlock it. What must I do to unlock it. I am not using any password.

it means the projector
locks on this source type and there is no such type of input
signal found,

so you need to try new input source type . means : if you use for example VGA, try to use other input type such DVI , HDMI

What settings should I use for acer x1260 to dell d520 laptop? Projector says "no signal" - have changed avg cable - no difference.

The max resolution on the projector is 1024x768. But the problem you're having sounds suspiciously like the laptop not sending out a video signal...you have to *tell* the laptop to send out an image to an external display. On one of the function keys, like F4 or F8, there will be a small TV screen symbol. You have to press and hold "alt" and then press the key with the symbol. The initial setting is obviously for the laptop only. When you press the keys for the first time, you tell the laptop share the picture with an external display (your projector). Press the keys a second time, and the laptop ONLY displays an image from the projector. And, press the combination again, you're back to just the laptop. The DLP projector should have a menu selection for "auto" under the input menu...that is the easiest and most trouble-free setting. Whatever you connect to the projector, it automatically seeks out the signal and connects to it.---Rick

Attaching to multi media projector issue.

A Function Key cpmbination is driving display choice: on my Acer (travelmate) is FN + F5 on your model could be different (On Compaq 6710 is FN+F4)
Check your manual or your keyboard for function symbol (Blue marked).
Allow time to perform a switch

"no signal " on the screen

After half a day of tinkering around with my new Acer I fixed my problem, which I think is yours also. I connected it to my notebook, it read the signal 'D-Sub' or something like that, and after my notebook finished startup, it reverted to no signal. I tried it with my desktop and it worked just fine. The display will only show up on one output device. It worked fine on my desktop because I was unplugging my monitor in order to hook up the projector. Hooking the projector up to my notebook left the display panel still active and that was where it displayed. In case I'm not making sense, the solution is this: After setting everything up, hit Control+Alt+F1 to switch display from your screen to the projector. To switch back, hit Control+Alt+F3

Acer Laptop problem with LCD Projectors

I have the same model of Acer and it worked in all of my classroom LCD with powerpoint lectures and with a SONY TV at home. Try right-clicking your screen to view the NVIDIA control panel. Configure "dual" multiple display (costumize to "dual" configuration or "forced-detect."
