My son broke his 9" polaroid A900x tablet the screen is cracked and maybe sensor inside possibly broke, how much would it cost to repair, Is it worth the repair or cheaper to purchase a NEW tablet?

see if a replacement screen is available and take it to a repair shop to have it replaced

if you dropped it and cracked the digitizer the warranty most likely does not cover this damage

It's at all not worth repairing this old device. the screen can cost more than half the cost of a new tablet, unless the crack is only on the touch panel which is the clear glass mounted directly above the screen. In most tablets, both must be replaced because dismantling the screen or touch panel will usually damage the other. Better to buy a new tablet.

Sounds like it is just a broken screen. Unless you can find a replacement online for cheap and diy, might be better to buy a new tablet. Sorry. :-(
