Run the machine empty to see if you can clear some of the soap residue, E-4 is "suds lock" error and is usually due to using too much detergent.

SOURCE: Super general washing machine (SGW 5800) front loader wont stop

Do an extra long rinse with no load, make sure door sensor in pushed in properly, then module should sort out itself
