How to Fix Nokia N72 back cover slider mechanism?

Water damaged the motherboard of your N72 that's why it is not working.
Instead of taking it to mechanic take it to Nokia care center.
They will surely sort this out.

you can chang your phone body.
because your phone back body is loosed so the booten can't touch.
chang body and use..........

First open the back side cover for the battery and then remove the battery and SIM. Now you can open the front cover and the keypad very easily by just pulling.

try to restore factory settings

Press on hold the back cover on the back of the phone and slowly slide it out.. If phone is new it would normally take some few extra muscles to slide it out

I think u have some problem with removing back cover of ur phone

To change sim card follow below instruction

1) Turn off your mobile phone (press switch off button on top of the phone)
2) Remove back cover by pressing unlock button on the cover & slide cover upwards gently (please take care you would not force the camera cover)
3) Remove Battery From the phone & u will see ur current sim or sim slot
4) Check instruction & insert your sim

Two solutions here. Don't try the second one if your phone is still under warranty or if you're bothered about invalidating the warranty. 1) Take your phone to a Nokia service centre, it should be free of charge to fix. 2) With the slide open, from the sides of the numerical kepad, carefully prise the back cover off, if you have thumb nails this is really easy. Spray a small amount of silicone spray, NOT wd40 as that attracts dust, onto a cotton bud, the type that would be used to clean ears, and dab the spray on the runners that are visible with the cover off. As you are applying it, keep moving the slider to spread the silicone spray along the whole mechanism. Do this on both sides. The rear cover will just click back in place.

Replaceing the battery is really easy, open the battery cover in the back, take the battery out.

u can connect by taking away the back cover of your mobile and then connect it by putting the back cover a side

to connect do 1 thing. which i did, open tha back cover of your mobile and put it on a side then enter the usb cable with nokia pc suite then it will work
