Pin google search to task bar - Google Computers & Internet

try getting to the programs and features in the control panel and uninstalling it from there
then run a full scan on the computer to remove and traces and then do a chkdsk run from the programs search bar above the Microsoft world flag in the task bar

What version of windows are you using? Windows 7 you can create a shortcut to your gmail account on the desktop. Download and save a Gmail Icon file (should be .ico from somewhere like http://findicons.com/search/gmail) then right click on the newly created shortcut on your desktop, choose properties, choose change icon under the shortcut tab, browse to where you icon was saved when you downloaded it and click on the file [your shortcut icon should now display your new icon]. Next click on your desktop shortcut holding your right mouse button and drag it to your task bar and release the right mouse button when pin to task bar is displayed.

You can open face from google the searche face book after tha you can open you'r face.or you can go to facebook icone on disktop or from start then click right click then click pin to task par it will move to taskpar.

right click mouse pointer on application and select pin to start menu or pin to task bar

You need to get out of desktop mode
right hand top side of screen is a search option in start screen
search for the application
when it comes up
Right click on it and select pin to Start or pin to Task bar
you can try looking for the application by clciking on the down arrow at bottom of start screen but I find search muck easier.

first go google then type in Mozilla firefox in the search bar
when that site comes up , download Mozilla firefox onto your computer
when the screen search page comes up tick the make this my home page box
now in the programs section on the desktop , click and drag firefox to the bottom task bar
now in future when you open the computer , all you do is click on that icon in the task bar and you are opened in the firefox search page

I don't quite understand your question. Why is WHAT not showing on your task bar or as a favorite?????

if this is windows 7 go to start menu and type in the search bar "internet explorer" without quotes. once you find it right click on it and pin to task bar.

Create the menu tab on your homepage right click in the top toolbar you should see a number of toolbar options select the menu tab which will add File Edit View Favorites Tools and Help
Click on the tools at the bottom of the drop down list will be internet options or
Click start control panel internet options you will see a home page box To Create Page Tabs type
each adress on its own line (type in google.com) or your preferred home page and browser
below that will be change search defaults click on settings you will see all search Providers
Toolbar extensions and Accelerators you have if don't need any of them you can disable or remove them.
Here is another option to add
Right click in the bottom toolbar (Bottom of Screen) select the toolbars option then Desktop this will add >> arrows in the bottom toolbar select the arrows you will see a list with control panel which has another list of all control panel items.
