You can solve this by connecting your phone inline.
On the back of the phone where the phone handset plugs into, plug one end of the jabra headset wire & connect other end to the 2nd position (marked by phone & handset). Now plug the handset wire from Ip phone to the 1st position (marked by handset) in the jabra headset. Now you are good to go.

When the phone rings lift the phone handset and answer it with your jabra headset. You can't use jabra with 7941 without lifting the handset on phone.

Vm Pro or embedded?

If voicemail pro, you will need to navigate to the folder where your messages are stored on the pc, delete them, then stop/restart the vmpro services. If you dont know what I am talking about, I would call someone in that is a knowledgeable tech....

The voicemail password is typically set on your PBX or Callmanager. The phone is only a registered extension, when you enter the VM password it is simply passing those digits to your PBX for validation.

The assumption is you are using Unity connections.

Complete these steps in order to change the speed:
  1. In Cisco Unity Connection Administration, find the user account or template that you want to edit. On the Edit menu, click Playback Message Settings. Set the Message Speed to Normal.
  2. If the users make any changes while they listen to voicemail, they are saved. In order to disable this, you can go to Advanced > Conversation > Save message playback Volume and Speed. Uncheck this to ensure that the changes made by users are not saved permanently.
If you are not an administrator, you can press 4 or 6 during the message to speed up and slow down.

There might be another voicemail box associated with your extension. Hang-up the receiver and press the voicemail button. It should tell you where the voicemail is sitting. If you do not know the passcode for that voicemail, have your system admin take a look at it.

I AM TRYING TO SET UP MY VOICE MAIL, BUT EACH TIME I PRESS THE MESSAGES BUTTON, ALL I GET IS A RECORDING WHICH TELLS ME TO CONTACT THE OPERATOR. SO THEN IT TELLS ME THAT THE OPERATOR IS NOT AVAILABLE.

That is because you need to setup the voice mail in Cisco Unity and also setup the phone in the call manager. Unless you have voice-mail setup it states.....Cisco Unity Messaging system....is the beginning of the message.

Message Indicator light displayed when there is no message

Don't know if you configured your CM server or not but there are two numbers that control the MWI. One number activates the lamp and the other turns it off. This is configured when you configure the system so I can't tell you what your numbers are. If you're using CM and not CME it's under the voice mail tab. Simply dial the number that turns the lamp off from the phones in question.

Oh and next time if you have an issue try restarting the CM service first instead of rebooting the box.

Well, in most Cisco VoIP phones those lights are used to tell you if you have a voicemail. Have you checked your vm and cleared any new ones? This might be your issue ;)
