SOURCE: i cant get the power brush to work

can you turn the brush by hand? if it turns real freely the belt is broke or the brush siezed up make sure there isn't any carpet strans wrapped around the ends of the brush otherwise the brush won't turn.if its the belt make sure you clean the motor shaft before you put on the new belt, the old rubber from the old belt will make the new belt run unevevly and break again..good luck

SOURCE: how to put the belt on the deit devil breeze

Here is a detailed discription on how to change your belt. Turn the machine compleatly upside down and place head on a flat surface. There are 4 screws to take out, then remove the base plate. Near the back of the channel the belt rides in you will see a stright silver shaft. Place the new belt over that shaft. The put the brush roller through the belt, so the belt is in the notched out section of the brush roller. Grab both ends of the brush roller and pull till the brush roller is back in it's origial spot on the base of the vacuum. Turn the brush roller 3 compleat turns backwards, then do the same forward to seat the belt. Put back on the base plate and put back the 4 screws. You are now ready to vacuum.

My dirt devil breeze turbo shut off while I was vacuuming. I've checked 3 outlets and nothing happened

It may have overheated from a restriction or clog. If so it will come back on after it cools down.

Why does the belt keeps comming off

Hello! If your belt keeps coming off, this usually means the belt is stretched and needs to be replaced. The Dirt Devil Breeze takes a Dirt Devil style 4 belt. Follow the link below to purchase the replacement belt. Hope this helps!

Why does the dirt devil breeze turbo shuts off

Hi there! The vacuum is equipped with a thermal protector sensor that will automatically shut the motor down if it reaches a certain temperature. This is usually caused by either a clog or a filter that needs to be cleaned or replaced. Make sure you check both the hoses for clogs and clean all filters properly. If a filter is really dirty it may be time to replace it. Hope this was helpful!

My dirt devil breeze was rattling while on. I found that the one end of the brush roller had shifted off the sqaure ends. Is it bent inside? Can it be repaired or do I need a new brush roller

The ends are fastened to each end of a shaft that passes through the roller. If the brush has shifted, perhaps the nuts or other fasteners have loosened. You can try to tighten the nuts but be carefaul to avoid tightening too much, causing the roller to not turn freely

My dirt devil breeze shoots out dirt from vent

try cleaning the filters and clear out hoses, sounds like it has backed up inside, also if the filters aren't clean it can loose suction.
