Sanyo tv stuck on language option can't press enter to get English because my remote won't work

To change the language on your Panasonic CN-H500D, press the "Menu" button on the remote control. Use the arrow keys to select the "Setup" option, then press the "Enter" button. Select the "Language" option, then press the "Enter" button. Use the arrow keys to select the language you want to use, then press the "Enter" button. A trick I have used is to use Babel Fish--a free translation service online--if you scroll thru the menu look for idioma which is
Spanish for language--use the remote to change it until in it is in English--Babel Fish will allow you to online translate from Spanish to English (or many other languages for that matter) to find the way out.

Universal remote alway work only the basic for the tv.Beyond that will have problems or stuck in some input or modes.Sorry i can't help u, because i don't know what is the reaction to ur tv by the universal remote,must use the universal remote again tries all the buttons like video modes or input botton.Or take the battery out like 20 mins of the universal remote to erase ur tv codes enter it again.Tries those buttons u pushes before,see if u can get out the video mode.All else fail.Try website like Remotes.com to buy the tv original remote to use.

To select the language, do the following.

[1] Press Menu and the press Left or Right arrow on the remote to select language option.

Choice of language selection [3] will appear on the screen.
English, Espanol and Francias

[2] Press Up or Down arrow to select the desired lannguage you want to be displayed on the screen. Then press ENTER.
[3] Press Menu repeatedly to exit the Menu screen to be cleared.
OK.

you can change back to default english by pressing shortcut keys.

press menu/ok

select settings

press options(right softkey)

then select language

now slect english.

Go into setup thru the "Menu" or similar button on the remote and you should see the "Language" option.
