Walmart has a universal remote control that works for that
Guess I can always try buying another remote if I have to. Just don't want to put out the money and NOT have it work. Thanks for suggestion though.

You can find the manual for the Radio Shack 4-in-1 Remote 15-2142 at ManualsLib and some other sites. No Magnasonic DVD players are listed. If your Magnasonic DVD/VCR was built more than 6 months before the remote was programmed, then the remote has the best chance of having the correct code. The copyright date for the manual appears to be 1999.
I hope this helps. You may want to try searching through all of the codes. Many electronics manufacturers use a common supplier for the IR sensor chip and encoding.

You will go through all of the codes in the remote 1 at a time to try and turn the power off. The code may or MAY NOT be in the remote,

First, you have to realize that there is no 'universal' remote; the description is a fraud.
Even the type of remote that can 'learn' codes from an original cannot learn from some of them (we own one like that).
They are, at best, 'multibrand' or 'multidevice' remotes.
About the only chance you might have is to check the All-In-One website for an updated list but it is unlikely that all functions of your DVD will be available with that remote.
