SOURCE: Set the clock

You are in luck. I had to replace the batteries in my DWS-150 & couldn't find the instruction manual to reset the time. Fortunately, I remembered a while back I had the same situation & thought I might have downloaded the manual - while it was still available. Ifound I have it saved as a pdf file on my pc. Here are some excerpts: About the Atomic Clock The National Institute of Standard and Technology (NIST) in Fort Collins,
Colorado broadcasts the time signal (WWVB at 60kHz AM radio signal) with
an accuracy of 1 second per every 3,000 years. The signal will cover a
distance up to 2,000 miles from the source. Like a typical AM radio, your
Atomic Clock will not able to receive the WWVB signal in places
surrounded by heavy concrete or metal panels. The reception of the time
signal can be affected by mobile phones, TV, electrical appliances or other
electronic interference. To get the best performance of the Atomic clock,
please install the home receiver near a window and away from large metallic
objects. If the unit is not working properly, change the unit position. There
may be some interference at this location.

SETTING TIME
RADIO-CONTROLLED CLOCK
The home receiver will start synchronizing the clock after the 1st channel of
the RF thermometer is registered.

moment. Try setting the home receiver in other locations. Remember to
place the unit away from sources of interference such as mobile phones,
appliances, TV etc.
4. Antenna icon will appear on screen if the radio time reception is
successful. The radio-controlled clock will have a daily synchronization at 1:00 am everyday. If previous attempts of reception were
unsuccessful, the home receiver will attempt synchronization
each hour until successful.
5. Each reception cycle is minimum 2 minutes and maximum 10 minutes.
TIME ZONE SELECTION
Press “ - ” button on back of home receiver to select from the following time
zones in the U.S. (zone is displayed in the upper right hand corner of time

SOURCE: how do i change the cmos battery in a travelmate

The cmos battery is exactly located beneath in between the touchpad and speaker, it's a meticulous job, you could see a twin cable leading through the keyboard area. After removing the keyboard, cut the battery wires at the edge of the old battery and replace the new sealed pack by soldering its wires to the same connection. Be cautioned not to break off the slim edges of the keyboard sides by attempting to reach the battery while lifting up top silver panel from the front near the Infrared.

How do I reset the time on my smartgear weather station

I have two of these and they lose the signal occasionally. Per the manual: Make sure all batteries are good and then press the TX button on the remote sensor for 3 seconds so it sends a wireless signal to the weather station. It should beep. Then on the weather station hold the CH button for 5 seconds to make it search for the transmitter until the outside temp appears. Just removing batteries and reinstalling them in various orders doesn't work. You must re-establish the wireless connection between the outdoor sensor and weather station.

My acurite model75321a1 does not tell out side temperature

We would recommend a reset of your Weather Station. Please verify that you are using a good-quality, standard alkaline battery, and follow the steps below.
  1. Remove the batteries from the outdoor sensor only.
  2. In the outdoor section on the main unit, there will be a "CH" and number 1-3.
  3. If on CH 1, press and hold the channel button on the back of the unit for 5 seconds.
  4. Press and release the channel button one time, it should show CH 2.
    • If it does not change to CH 2, repeat steps 4 and 5.
  5. Press and hold the channel button for 5 seconds.
  6. Press and release the channel button one time, it should show CH 3.
    • If it does not change to CH 3, repeat steps 6 and 7.
  7. Press and hold the channel button for 5 seconds.
  8. Press and release the channel button one time, it should return to CH 1.
    • If it does not change to CH 1, repeat steps 8 and 9.
***Regardless of what channel you begin on, clear out each channel by holding the channel button and return to CH 1***
  9. Reinstall batteries in the outdoor sensor.
  10. Press and release the TX button.
  11. Leave both units side by side for up to 30 minutes to gain a strong connection.

I have an ACURITE 00590A1-RX. My time is off by 10 minutes. i don't have my manual and would like to know how to reset it. If possible, tell me how to download a manual.

From the manual, such as it is:

Set the Time Manually:
If you want to set your alarm clock a little ahead or if the unit ever loses time for any reason, the time can be set manually by following these steps.
1) Press and hold the "CH./SET" button for seven seconds to begin the manual time set mode. (2 BEEPS) The hour will flash on and off.
2) Adjust each setting by pressing the "+" or "-" buttons. Confirm and move on to the next setting by pressing the "CH./SET" button.
MANUAL TIME ADJUST SEQUENCE: hour, minute, year, month, date

This works for me. You have to be sure to keep pressing the CH/SET button for the full seven seconds -- the first beep the the clock gives you will only allow you to set the time zone and DST function.

Press CH button until correct day is showing. Press SET so that the year is flashing. Press CH button until correct year is showing. Press SET until nothing is flashing. You should be done.

Rf tech 433 mhz

I had the same problem and finally found my manual. Here's what to do, everyone!

1. Take back panel off the sending unit, where the three batteries are, by unscrewing the 4 phillips head screws (assuming you, like I, had put the screws back in after installing new batteries). You will see a little gray button in a hole above where the batteries are; the little button is one you can push down with the same phillips screwdriver you took the 4 screws out with - don't do this yet.

2. Now, hold down the "channel" button on front of receiver panel for 2 sec, until the dash in the "ch" box and the place where the temp is supposed to be starts blinking.

3. Now, while these indicia are blinking on the panel, push the little gray button down and hold it for 2 seconds. This causes the transmitter to "register" with the receiver. You should now see a 1 in the "ch" box and get a temp reading.

4. Put screws back on, put receiver where you want it, proceed with rest of your life.
