Question about Honda Electrical Supplies
Maybe 30 minutes of run time on this hammer, but we had another one that did the same thing. Runs off a 3000 watt Honda generator. What are we doing wrong?
I thought id answered this, if there is an eye glass check the oil level mate, its normally below one of the handles, sometimes you can screw the eye glass off and top up

1 - Check the circuit breakers on the front of the panel where the outlets are located.
2 - Make sure the black molex plug on the back of the panel where the outlets are located is plugged in securely.
3 - Carefully take the plastic endbell off the generator ( you'll need a 7/16 inch wrench and socket) and look for broken or missing brushes, broken wires, etc.
4 - If you're not up for #3 take it to a good repair shop. :-)

First locate the oil pressure switch and see if you can bypass it,then see if it runs. If not check the fuel filter and fuel pump, make sure solonoid for fuel pump is kicking on.

it could be the connectors need to be changed, when you open the front of the gen you will see a shaft with wires attached to it in both sides a small charcoal like peaces attached with a small wires each these connectors see if the are touching the shaft or not and how long they are if they not or too short that mean you need to replace them and you can get them from any please by looking at the manual and get the number for them and do search on the net or local store...However did you first reset all your brakes? let me know if that work and please remember to rate my service so I am able to continue provide quality service and improve on it with your help. God bless

At the controller, you need to see if it is actually sending electricity out of the Generator/Alternator, have a look where the leads from the power making unit mates, (Think of it as a motor in reverse) onto the board. There should be an AC Voltage there, then, work back, or out from there, trace the Voltage until it stops, thats the problem... Check the Breaker isn't tripped or faulty too.
