SOURCE: how do i make foam for cappuccino with my ascasco

On the steam pipe end their is a small hole on the side of the pipe. You should keep this hole always above the surface of the milk. When the milk rise up try to keep the hole above it. If you keep it exactly on the surface of the milk then big bubles will **** back again and become smaller and finer and your fioam stronger and better.

SOURCE: Milk container connected to machine but no light

sounds like the switch that is activated by the pitcher is not engaging correctly. try fiddling around with that a little... if not you could bypass it but it voids any and all warranty so you may want to call DeLonghi. Hope that helps

You could avoid this problem by flashing water out without any capsule in. In anycase is a simple problem, you need to disasemble the machine and remove the head shower and wash it from dry coffee liquid which is blocked all the showers holes.

Milk does not come out

remove the milk hose and the dispenser. grab the dial that lets you change between milking a cappuccino and a flat white, pul is straight out of the removed section. You will find slots in the shaft that are choked with milk solids. This happens when CAPPY RINSE is ignored.

ICAPP-4 - A Wiki Manual

Cuisinart ICAPP-4 – Iced Cappucino and Hot Espresso Maker – A Wiki Manual
By Tha Mp3 Doctor (who also loves Cuisinart)

Since I am not well-versed in the copyright laws regarding reprinting copies of standard user’s manuals online, I am writing this Wiki Manual for the ICAPP-4. My unit is 12 years old (in 2009) and continues to run strong through two different owners.
General Directions for Making Iced Cappuccinos
- Place carafe on top of drip/tray grate with handle touching right front of ICAPP – the ice fill lines should be visible when looking at front of unit
- Turn “milk knob” to OPEN position, and open lid of ICAPP
- Remove milk container, espresso collector, espresso spinner cup and cover
- Put espresso collector back in place with two plastic teeth facing front of machine
- There is a stepped fill line inside water reservoir that measures off 1,2, and 4 cups
- Fill water reservoir with either 1,2 or 4 fill line cups – do not overfill to avoid damaging the electronics
- Add espresso grounds to espresso spinner cup
- Line up teeth of spinner cup cover with spinner cup so that the cover locks into place
- Fill milk reservoir with 3 oz of milk per cup of iced cappuccino that you plan to make – there is a fill line that measures off 2 cups or 4 cups
- Fill carafe with either 2 cups worth of ice or 4 cups, depending on how much iced cappuccino you plan to make
- Press down on lid and turn milk knob to HEAT postion
- Turn ICAPP on using the ON/OFF button – it will begin to heat – takes about 5-6 minutes (HEAT light will stay on during this process – doesn’t make noise or steam for several minutes)
- When READY light turns green, turn the milk knob to the DISPENSE MILK position – your espresso and milk will start dispensing
- Unit turns itself off automatically when ready – takes several minutes

I just need to know how to make a cappuccino useing my DeLonghi Cafe Sorrento. Thanking you

Cappuccino is a mixture of espresso, a little steamed milk and a little milk foam. The milk/foam ratio is up to you what you enjoy most. Some like a thick layer of foam while others just want foam as a garnish on top. Mix as you please.

How do I make cappuchino cofee?

If you are looking for a manual, you can contact Jura Capresso directly. If you are just looking for directions for making a cappuccino in general:
Brew the espresso.
Use the steam wand/frothing element and a pre-chilled frothing pitcher (the pre-chilling is optional, but it is considered good form) to steam about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of milk.
A true cappuccino does not involve pouring all of the milk directly into the espresso - you would use a spoon to take about two spoonfuls of the top of the steamed milk and place it on top of the espresso.
You can sprinkle cinnamon, use a cinammon stirring stick, or pour cinnamon cappuccino flavoring on top of the cappuccino for good form (but this part is optional).

Enjoy!

I need instructions for a Cuisinart Iced Cappuccino Maker

I have a PDF of the user manual if you want me to e-mail it to you. In the meantime, here is my Wiki Manual (BTW, pagan, the machine does make hot espresso or cappucino, but it doesn't froth per se like a regular espresso machine - it just heats the milk internally and dumps it into the espresso):

I can answer just about any question you have on the unit - I wasn't able to find the manual online, but I would be more than happy to scan and e-mail you my copy of the original manual. In the meantime, here is my basic Wiki Manual:

How to work Spidem Cappuccino Instantly Espresso Machine

the coffee portion of the knob only allows the instant coffee to be added to the mixing process, then when the knob is turned to the milk selection, the milk is frothed and the instant coffee is added and dispensed into a container under the dispenser area on the front of the machine......Hope this helps.
