Using my iPad, how would I change Messenger settings so that only friends may message me? In other words, I do not want to receive messages from people whom I am not friends. Thanks

If uninstalling and installing the yahoo messenger also not work then follow the below two steps STEP -1
go to Start Button - Run - type regsvr32 jscript.dll - then press OK
STEP-2
go to Start Button - Run - type regsvr32 vbscript.dll - then press OK
now your yahoo messenger will work normally

Instructions to a Sakar sms text messenger - sending text messages.

Press the NUMBERS/LETTERS below the keypad icons.

Example: SEND a message from one Messenger to the other

• For the messenger (USER 1) receive a message
  

• Press SMS button,
• then the RECV button and leave it like that - don't do anything

• On the messenger (USER 2)sending the message
• Press SMS
  
• Type with the numbers/letters (NOT THE PICTURE)
  
• Click SEND (it will display P/i ?)
  
• click the (I C Q chat) button with the smiley face

• The message will appear on messenger (USER 1) display

Yahoo messenger presently is undergoing few changes at the server end. In order to login efficiently I use to run two ping commands. To do so, press on start button click on run button type cmd in the box and hit ok button. In the black window now type exactly the same in the bracket remember brackets are not included in the command (ping www.yahoo.com -t) don't forget to put space after .com before typing -t. -t is hyphen t. repeat this message once more and you will be able to login through messenger.
